Sandy Bay Beach Tours and Activities

Beautiful villa stay in Roatan — we’d come back We stayed in a beautiful villa in Roatan and loved the setting from the moment we arrived. Having the pool right outside the door and an ocean view made every morning and evening feel special. It’s the kind of place you actually use, not just photograph. Staff were very accommodating throughout the stay and made things easy. The on-site dive operation was a huge plus — super convenient not to have to leave the property. The dive masters and captains were wonderful: professional, friendly, and clearly know these waters. The gym was another highlight. We loved how close it was and how well it was equipped. Easy to stay consistent without disrupting the rest of the trip. The restaurant is expensive, so we were more selective there and mixed in other options. That was the only real drawback. Overall it was an easy, well-run stay with the views, pool, diving, and gym all working in our favor. We would definitely come back.

Property was BEAUTIFUL! Right on the beach, chairs and towels provided, amenities great, food was wonderful. We were there during the FIFA World Cup, so that was fun each afternoon and evening. Everyone got into it for sure. It wasn't too busy even when the cruise ships came in. Staff was phenomenal. Simply a great stay for my spouse and I!

Las Verandas was a great choice. The room was beautiful and spacious with a wonderful balcony and the food was delicious! The grounds are very well maintained and the ground around the pools never gets hot. The concierge was very helpful, booking us a snorkeling trip and providing other helpful information. The one downfall (no fault of Las Verandas) was the no-see-ums, so bring bug spray and use it!
