Best Pousada ever (aka bed and breakfast) ... great breakfast, AC is very efficient and quiet... day and nights personnel is very friendly and helpfull... go do a boat toor to go swims around island... they are not speaking english but honestly you dont need it... the city is verrly safe as well.

This is a very special pousada! It's a lovely oasis in a lively and fascinating old town.
Literaria is extremely conveniently located, spanning a car-accessible street on one end and the old, now-pedestrian centre of town on the other. The staff are extremely accommodating, and a special shout-out to the front-desk team, who were absolutely awesome. The amenities (except perhaps for the gym, which is small. But you should be walking around anyway!) are top-notch. They offer a nice breakfast...

The outside entrance is not so attractive but inside off pousada nice and cozy, Excellent reception from host. The rooms is on the small side . But the bed and the bedding are very comfortable.
