Didn’t sleep well very noisy building I can hear the stairs all night and peoples conversations. At one point someone tried to walk into my room. I will not return

Broken chair, carpet was smelly, no heating, not enough blanket ( one very light blanket which was just like a sheet) overall for the price they charged with no breakfast it was very poor

This is the second time I stayed at Sands by the Sea with my two well-behaved doggos. We all loved it so much and had a partial ocean view from an upstairs room. The staff were all super nice and friendly. The grounds and beach were gorgeous and I loved the nightly fire pits. One of the best places in the state to bring your pooch! My dog Tigger moped on the last day with her head on her paws as we packed up to leave. She wanted SBTS to be her forever home! Thanks again for another great stay!

It needed upgrades. The chair had torn upholstery. I had to check-in at a nearby hotel. I had to carry my bag upstairs. The scenery and ocean out back was nice with sitting areas.

Someone needs to buy this property and renovate it completely. There is no staff there. They are at the next hotel over. Book at the hotel to the north of this one. Like right next to it they are the guests that get attention. Avoid!

Good place to stay to visit Morro Bay and Hearst Castle. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable.

Had to go to the neighboring hotel to check in which is confusing. Rooms were exceptionally clean and very roomy. Breakfast was prepackaged danishes and muffins. Carton orange juice.

Hard to find at night sign was dark, no light. Arrived but check in closed at normal hours, sign directed me to go to hotel next door. Ok but u could have sent me an email. Breakfast was a bunch of prepackaged donuts or you could go to restaurant and get $5 off Stay was good except for these inconveniences!

The room and bathroom were nothing great small but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The amenities made up for the small room. I love the beach access and fire pits. We had a nice breakfast at the restaurant next door. The $5 per person voucher was a nice savings. We already booked a room for next month. This will be our go-to motel when we are in the area.

There was no front desk when we checked in, we had to go to the next property to check in (maybe they are owned by the same owner?). Our aircon was noisy when we turned it on and the one office chair in the room had its upholstery torn/damaged... We are only there for one night so we just ignore it but for the price of the room, I just wish the facilities are better managed. The area is beautiful and the view was amazing too. You also have access to the beach that is shared with the motel next door that is more fancy (and probably expensive).
