We had room 106 and it had a partial ocean. The room had a fireplace and was very nice. It’s also right next door to the Sea Chest restaurant which was really convenient! The only things that we didn’t like was that the room was underneath the stairs to the second floor. When people went up and down the stairs with their suitcases it tended to be pretty loud. Also the light for the shower wasn’t working. Other than that, we had a really nice stay.

The location is ideal and we loved having a view of the ocean and being able to enjoy the patio. The fireplace was also a very nice touch. The one improvement that could be made is the location of the TV. It was only fully visible from one bed.

This is a wonderful small hotel across from the beach. You can hear the ocean waves from your window. It is very peaceful and quiet. I will definitely stay here again. Great breakfast with homemade bakery pastries! Cleanliness is exceptional, with daily room service, friendly staff. Wonderful getaway!

This coastline and the town of Cambria is beautiful! Everything is centrally located if you want to walk to restaurants and do a little shopping. Or, you could drive about a mile up the road to the other side of the town for even more shopping and restaurants. I would love to go back! Hearst Castle is about a 10 min drive up the 1 too!

The property is too tight to drive through, the breakfast needs to be better with what I paid for the room. The woman at the front desk her name was Laura did not look friendly at all! It’s super awkward breakfast is served right next to the front desk!! The room was beautiful and the view. Balcony needs more privacy people are too close to each other out there and there’s no privacy!

Have stayed at this beautiful hotel many times and it just never disappoints! The grounds are impeccable and the rooms are the upmost clean! Housekeeping at this place takes pride in their work and it shows! When you peek at how they approach a room cleaning you will be amazed at the care they take! Rooms are cozy with first class bedding, lovely warm decor and excellent bathrooms from sinks to showers! The breakfast in the morning is outstanding and their spare no expense serving you first class danish, coffee, tea, yogurt, h/b eggs, juice, fruit...ect. And the attendant to the breakfast area never misses a beat at keeping up and keeping it clean and stocked. Best part is the caring staff at the front desk and phones! You could not ask for a nicer venue to stay on moonstone beach...there are others and they are wonderful but this is the very best IMHO! I long for the day I can return for a little get away to my favorite place on earth Moonstone Beach and Moonstone Landing.

We were happily surprised when we arrived at moonstone landing. Our room was quite nice and we had a partial view of the ocean. There was a gas fireplace in the room and a very beautiful bathroom. They had really good coffee in the room as well. There was also a nice breakfast. We didn't expect it to be so nice as it was only listed as a two-star hotel. We would definitely come back here!

Great Beach Getaway
We only stayed for one night but we wish we could of stayed longer. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom and bed were clean and very comfortable. We had a fireplace in our room that was so nice. Boardwalk was just across the street. Plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. Free Breakfast was a good selection to choose from. They even had Linn's pastries! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Love that beach with boardwalk is very close walk across the street, and decent places to eat are walking distance to property. Although pricier, reserving a room with a view on property makes stay ideal.

The facilities aren't what they used to be. TV with no Wi-Fi. I wouldn't even call breakfast as breakfast. Asked staff for extras ( towelsand TP), they said absolutely , and Noone ever came. Bit disappointing experience and we used to stay here a lot

Great location and nice ocean view. The property is very clean and everything is in good working order. We were greeted by a very friendly office manager. Complimentary cookies are given at checkin and free coffee and tea are available to all in the front office. The only thing holding me back from an excellent review is the limited amount of channels available on the tv.
