Considerations: While only 20 min from downtown, it is a very bumpy drive and nothing in comparison to the rest of the roads on the island. We drove the hour north to Secret Beach and heard about the bad roads, but they were much better than the ones going this south. Also, restaurant next door closes at 5 so we weren’t able to enjoy it and had to shop at the markets before coming back or eat in town…requiring us to drive in the bumpy dark which felt a bit unsafe with little kids.
