Our casita was clean and comfortable, and we loved also having an outdoor area to relax. Gardens were lush and offered a sense of privacy. When he opened the door at the street I was alarmed to see what looked like a rather messy backyard, with a large tent-like structure and a concrete chiminea, as well as drums, odd sculptures and used mats lying about. He took me to a ground floor room and I was alarmed to see that it had no windows except for a large one that that had to remain curtained because it looked out to the indoor sitting area I had just walked through. "I can't say enough nice things about Casa Schuck. This place was simply wonderful. It's a beautiful bed & breakfast ("urban hacienda") situated 5 minutes from the central square in San Miguel de Allende. It's minutes from all of the major central town locations. We were greeted by the friendliest hosts and given the tour of the 8-10 bedroom B&B. Each room is decorated differently, and there's a central courtyard with a lovely public "living room" space and dining space located next to it. ...
