Golden Fields Farmhouse With Playground!

Wonderful solar farmhouse style home near wineries, attractions, beaches, and central to LA and the rest of San Diego county. Recently renovated and ready for families and groups looking for space and peace. Extremely comfortable beds, four bedrooms with four bathrooms. The house is certified cleaned and disinfected after each stay following a 5-step enhanced cleaning process.

The house is attached to the owner's residence. It is completely private and has it's own private entrance.

Family Wedding
Seven of us stayed at this house. We so appreciated that each bedroom had its own bath. It made it much easier to get ready all at once for the nearby family wedding. The house was close to the wedding venue and to other restaurants. This rental served its purpose for a brief stay, but I would not stay at this rental if it were for a vacation, since there was no oven for cooking and only a very small cooktop. Also, there were no instructions on how to regulate the thermostat.

Great San Diego Vacation
We really loved the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. We had 6 adults and 3 children 6 and under. The kids loved being able to get out and play in the yard and on the swing set. It was located perfectly between Legoland, The Safari Park and Carlsbad State Beach. We like to do most of our meals in, so a better cooktop would have been better. But we made do. I highly recommend Golden Fields Farmhouse With Playground!

Lacrosse tournament trip
We traveled down to SD for a lacrosse tournament. We had 3 families in our group. 5 adults 3 teens and one 5 year old. The portion youre renting is to the right of the main house and is attached. Main level has mini kitchen, living room, 2 beds 2 bath, washer dryer. Upstairs has main kitchen, dining room, 2 bed 2 bath. Space is good if not cozy for bigger parties like ours. Beds were nice and house was very clean. Owners were very nice and receptive to requests for towels etc. The yard is cool and has a trampoline and playset. This was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend and will book again next year.

Attending a family function nearby. Needed space for extended family. Very close to the venue. Clean, comfortable, quiet home with nice beds. Kitchen with utensils for food prep. Highly recommended. Parking for two cars. Extra vehicles able to park across the main thoroughfare. Unfortunately, it seems one of the neighbors was unappreciative of having one vehicle parked near their home and one of our party had an egg plastered on the windshield prior to our check out. Not an issue with our hosts or the great home, just the neighbors

AMAZING, Wish we could book exceptional VRBO's like this every time!
Where do I start? We travelled here with our 5 kids ranging in age from 2 to 10. They absolutely loved the house and access to the trampoline playground and a huge space to run and play tag so much they didn't want to leave. We drove to San Marcos from Sacramento to welcome my brother back home from Kabul, Afghanistan and this place was close enough to Camp Pendleton that was reasonably priced and worked perfectly for our family situation. There was plenty of room for the kids to work on makeup schoolwork during the day and watch movies at night. Beds were super clean and COMFY, as were the pillows and we are very picky about things like this. The entire place was neat and clean. It was relatively easy to baby proof the place from our two year old thanks to zero clutter. There are some games that were within reach, we made sure to put those up in a closet so he couldn't mess them up. If you're worried about bringing toys, don't worry they had a bin of geo tracks that entertained every single one of my kids. There was also a super nice and clean pack and play so we didn't have to bring our own (we do always bring our own pack and play mattress insert with fitted sheet, so you'd want to bring your own too so baby/toddler isn't just on the standard pack and play mat). I just can't say enough good things about this place -- totally wish this house could be anywhere we wanted to travel since VRBO's can be so hit and miss. If you've ever dealt with road noise, we heard absolutely zero noises that kept us up at night. There is AC and heat and the hot water for showers did just fine keeping up with our family. The property manager is in the house next door on the same property. They were so sweet and accommodating and make it clear they want you to thoroughly enjoy your stay. If we have another opportunity to visit Camp Pendleton area, we will be checking here first.
