Very poor maintenance. Parking is limited with anll the construction on one part of the hotel. Lots of construction noise all day long! On top of that our room hairdryer did not work, the shower handle was broken and did not stay in place and our TV was not working. We did complain to night duty clerk and also the front desk staff in the morning. Still after a week no response from the management. Front desk did tell us that most of the TVs have a problem and need to be reset regularly. Obviously owners don’t care. Do not recommend this hotel.

Wires were exposed, smoke detector was missing, the deadbolt was gone, the mini fridge was out of its compartment, it was not clean, there was gum in the peephole. We did not stay and I want my money back. It was unsafe.

First they are doing refurbishing so the parking lot had multiple job boxes so parking was very limited. Friday night we go back to the room and there was no parking after a few trips through the parking lot someone left and we got a parking place. Second there was only one bath, one wash cloth and one hand towel. We had to go to the desk and ask for more. They happily gave them. They don't have to worry about anyone taking the towels as they were the worst towels ever!!! Like sand paper. Plus they were not very clean!! The shower had used soap in it! There is so much furniture in the room it was over crowded. There was less than a foot between the bed and the desk!! Layout was horrible! Plus they had two gigantic night stands. They were huge!! The shower and the sink took over 10 minutes to get hot water and the shower didn't drain so you showered in 4" of water!! I will say that the heater worked well and it was quiet. Plus the guy at the front desk was nice. I doubt that I will go back and I do frequent SLO.

There was dirty underwear in the wardrobe of my room when I checked in. Half the gym equipment was out of order. This place is not worth the per night price. Walls are not all painted in the rooms. I almost left the night I checked in. Stay away.

The staff were ok but we first checked in with the front desk Henry and when we got to the room #1 the A/c and heater doesn’t work and the tv doesn’t work… went to the front desk to inform Henry and we got another room okay this time the A/C AND HEATER works but the tv DOESN’T we took a look at the remote and to top it off there was a battery missing like do they not check the rooms before they get booked? Apparently not… we told Henry again and it also looked like a cable was missing for the tv since it wasn’t working so Henry went to go try to find one but failed to come back… do not recommend this place!!!

The area is closed to downtown, restaurants, bar. You can go walking distance. The issue I had was the TV control was not working. I notify the front desk and came to fixing that but the next day I had the same issue. But overall it was a good experience

Property is under renovation and was not noted in thier description. Room are old and smell. Front desk does not answer thier phones. My wife and i checked out early because the room was not clean and smelled weird. Owners should have warned guuess that the property is under renovation and rooms are not clean.

There was a lightbulb missing in every room. The pictures were dark. It was a very dark room. There was no curtain liner to let in outside light, only the dark curtain. The doors and door knobs were dirty. The floor was OK, but there was trash under the beds. The headboard was not connected to the bed and the box spring was torn with a huge hole dragging on the floor. The hotel room did not match the online pictures. The windows did not have screens. The first room we were assigned to had a broken security lock on the door. Once we moved to the second room, there were several electrical outlets that did not work. The breakfast was very basic. There were only 2 hot items: sausages, and the make your own waffle station. Instant oatmeal was available in a cup where you add your own hot water. The only redeeming quality about the hotel was that the AC heating unit was very very quiet, and the complimentary soaps seem to be quite good.

The room we had been given smelled like paint, so we were upgraded to the Presidental Suite for free. Presidential Suite was great. Newly renovated. Very comfortable. We appreciate the upgrade.

We didn’t stay there because they gave us an upstairs room and my husband can’t climb stairs, especially when carrying the luggage. We had to go somewhere else because all the ground floors were taken.

Our initial room (199, beware!) had a bed covered in dog hair. Moreover, the ice machine, washing machine, and dryer are all literally next to the window, so that noise is constant. We got a new room/upgrade after pointing out the dog hair, but the new room was also in pretty rough shape. They obviously tried to make it nice, but the window is painted shut, the drain didn't drain, and the flooring was popping up. I would not stay here again.

Mediocre Hotel but Nice Location
Stayed two nights but definitely overpriced for what we experienced. "Two Queen Beds" were actually two full-sized beds. Pillows were throw pillow sized. Bedroom area floor had crumbs from the last guests. The location is going through construction so many rooms were being overhauled and there were mattresses and furniture everywhere - in the walkways, by the pool area. We were told coffee was 'always available' in the lobby during office hours but the three times we went in (3pm, 12noon, 4pm) the carafes were empty. Upsides included walkable location and a beautiful pool area (albeit with a crazy stacked mattresses view).

We see that once the construction is completed it will be nice i like the shower head that changes color with the temp of water. Never seen one in a hotel do no thing it wil last but nice touch anyway.😀

There were so many things broken in my room. - vanity mirror in bedroom was broken and not working - television in bedroom didn’t work - no telephone in the room - curtain in bedroom broken - coffee maker lid was broken
