"First impressions, beautiful area, in a beautiful small town, when pulling into the parking lot my family got hit with an open sewer smell. Apparently it's the mother hot spring.... I guess that the smell of hot fresh water. Staff was excellent, 10 out of 10, super friendly to the family checking in, when over-hearing conversations between staff members super friendly & polite! Breakfast was delicious, the pools are beautiful, some overlooking the rest of the resort, & some overlooking the San Juan river. I went during August of 2025, I can imagine how people love to come here during the winter to warm up with nature during the winter. They did open a new side of the pools within the resort, it only 18+ which isn't a huge problem, just giving fellow families a heads up. Otherwise the rest of the resort is free game for families."
"Loved this property and would go back. However, we didnt have any idea where in the building to enter nor which doors which codes went to. I put this more on Expedia than the property itself however as I assume this is Expedia not passing along pertinent details. Within the building there were multiple coded doors. We just kept trying the code until we found a door it worked on. Downtown is under major construction so that might kill the vibe for some people, but we thoroughly enjoyed our overnight and plan to go back again soon!!"
"Very nice and clean property, everything was thought of, road noise did not bother us, but there was several options for people with issues with noise. Loved the features and amenities. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio with the fire pit and having the electric fireplace inside for the cool evening, "
"If you are looking for space and all the niceties of home close to sight-seeing, this is the place to stay! Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out with a kitchen and all the pots, pans and utensils needed to make a meal. If cooking on vacation isn't your thing, SO many restaurants in the area with various price ranges to suit your needs. Highly recommend traveling to Mesa Verde National Park (about 1 1/2 hours away) and stop on the way in Durango. If you leave MVNP and have a little extra time, drive a bit further and see the Four Corners National Monument. It is a great place to take a family picture standing on four states at the same time! Also lots of Native American handmade jewelry and artwork available for sale. If you wish to check out the hot springs, there is Nathan's Hippy Dippy Hot Springs which is free and very clean and about a 3 minute walk from your door. There are several 'pools' with varying levels of temperatures. Plan to get there early and find a pool temp that's just right for your family. Highly recommend this loft apartment in Pagosa Springs."
"We had a great stay in Pagosa Springs. This cozy condo was perfect for our weekend. Right on the main drag near all the shops and restaurants and a short walk to the Riverwalk and hot springs. Exactly as advertised. Reasonably priced and the reserved parking spot behind the building made it very convenient. Would definitely recommend!"
