Sigue siendo novedosa en el siglo 21. Desde que la renovamos en 2013 estamos recibiendo huéspedes con servicio de 5 estrellas. Casa 72 se luce para estadías medianas (una a tres semanas), pero igual acepta huéspedes de dos noches. Siempre listos para atender a una pareja, o un grupo de doce personas, solo adultos o con niños. ➜Arquitectura y diseño 400m2 de amplios espacios, cielos altos, vientos cruzados, luz natural. Concebida como un lugar para reuniones familiares dinámicas, te hacen sentir a gusto sin saber por qué, en cualquiera de sus muchos ambientes. La casa se considera una obra significativa en la arquitectura nicaragüense del siglo 20\. Construida principalmente de madera. Con siete niveles, entrelazados por escaleras de medio piso. Su diseño, decoración, materiales y mobiliario te dan inmediatamente la bienvenida a tu casa en la playa. ➜Cocina Está bien equipada para que nuestros huéspedes cocinen. De gas de cuatro quemadores, con horno. (El gas está incluido en el precio de rentas de una semana o menos.) En los muebles de madera encontrará cuchillos y utensilios de cocina, toallas, cubiertos, vasos, tazas, sartenes, tetera para hervir agua, etc. La cocina además cuenta con un horno microondas, tostadora 2x2, licuadora, cafetera, envases plásticos para guardar comida, y más. La cocina tiene acceso fácil al comedor principal, y al comedor al aire libre. ➜Asador de gas Disponible para el uso de los huéspedes. Cada reservación incluye una limpieza. Para estadías de una semana o menos, gas está incluido. ➜Habitaciones Las habitaciones son sencillas y prácticas, acordes con el espíritu de la casa. La casa tiene tres baños completos que se comparten entre todas las habitaciones. Adicionalmente, tiene un medio baño en el primer nivel, cerca de la piscina y del comedor al aire libre, Las duchas cuentan con agua caliente, toallas, alfombra, jabón y papel higiénico para estadías cortas. La casa tiene también una ducha al aire libre, en la entrada, cerca del caminito de madera. El baño #3, ubicado en el nivel 6 de la casa, mantiene el diseño original de los baños, fabricados con fibra de vidrio, y con ducha y tina de baño. ➜Agua El agua en SJdS es potable. Sin embargo, para conveniencia de nuestros huéspedes, incluimos un bidón de agua embotellada de 5 galones para cada reservación. Si necesita más, puede pedirlo por teléfono al número que aparece en nuestra guía QR El servicio de agua municipal es poco confiable, y todo el pueblo padece de constantes faltas de agua en las tuberías. Para comodidad de nuestros huéspedes, tenemos amplias reservas de agua en cisternas subterráneas y sobre la superficie, y un nuevo sistema de bombeo automático. Tenemos reservas suficiente para dos o tres días de operación de la casa, con uso moderado. Nuestros huéspedes no deberían tener problemas. Si el agua llegara a fallar por más de ese tiempo, los huéspedes tendrán que hacer arreglos privados en coordinación con nuestro responsable de casa. De todas formas, pedimos a nuestros huéspedes que hagan uso racional de este recurso cada vez más escaso en el mundo. ➜Piscina Es un gran atractivo para niños y adultos. Es una piscina social. Tiene 1.5m en su parte más honda y 1.2m en su parte menos profunda (aprox). Tiene una puerta que impide el acceso por las escaleras. Si tiene niños menores asegúrese de mantenerla cerrada. ➜Wi-fi Recientemente mejoramos la internet de la casa, para atraer a personas que trabajan fuera de su oficina. Tenemos ahora servicio de fibra óptica, con 200/20 mbps contratados. El servicio de Wi-fi cubre prácticamente toda la propiedad con su modem principal y red de repetidoras tipo "mesh". Adicionalmente tenemos una toma y cable Ethernet en el área de trabajo, en el nivel #6, donde tenemos una area de oficina. ➜Oficina Tenemos un espacio aislado para oficina. Localizado en el nivel #6, arriba, con su puerta para acceso privado. Tiene una mesa, una silla, un abanico, regulador de corriente/cargador, cable Ethernet y lo mejor, una hamaca personal, desde donde puedes trabajar cómodamente con tu laptop. Pueden trabajar una o dos personas, y hacer llamadas de conferencia con bastante privacidad. Podemos configurar el espacio de la oficina como una habitación adicional, solo con abanico, y con una cama unipersonal, en caso de que los huéspedes lo soliciten. ➜Mesas de comedor La mesa del comedor principal tiene sillas para diez personas. Tenemos una silla alta para niños. (favor solicitarla a nuestro conserje) Tenemos una mesa auxiliar que sirve para poner bandejas de comida, tipo "buffet" en caso de que haya un grupo grande usando la mesa del comedor. La piscina está flanqueada por una barra de madera que se puede usar como mesa. Tiene cuatro bancas de madera. Debajo del árbol de guanacaste tenemos una mesa redonda para seis personas, que se usa como comedor al aire libre, para complementar el asador de gas. ➜Salas de estar y balcones Casa 72 fue diseñada pensando en la tranquilidad de sus usuarios. Tenemos un detector de humo, y un detector de monóxido de carbono. Ambos estan localizados cerca de las habitaciones 1, 2 y 3 Tenemos extinguidores de incendio cerca de la cocina y cerca de las habitaciones. Usamos tomas de GFCI en los baños y la cocina. Tenemos una silla para el comedor para niños pequeños, con correas de seguridad. Usamos cerraduras digitales con claves personalizadas, que cambiamos para cada huésped, usando su numero de telefono. Usamos la misma clave en la puerta principal que en la puerta que da a la cocina. House has many open areas where any type of animal can get in. Upon entering property I placed a food container down on the counter and immediately noticed at least a couple hundred ants all over the kitchen. They did have cups and utensils available but I would not use them considering the conditions. I notified maintenance person that lives there and he provided us with a bug spray… and said it’s not a big deal. Then after settling in and laying in the beds, my family was terrified and couldn’t sleep after hearing BAT noises INSIDE the house possibly inside the walls and up near the ceiling. Also heard multiple RATS running around and scratching/biting the wood. Next day I went to the beach, came back super tired ready to lay down just to find RAT DROPPINGS ON MY BED. My relative found bugs on his pillow and in the bathroom. Rooms had unpleasant smells also but compared to everything else that was the least of my worries. If a house is going to be rented or used for business these are UNACCEPTABLE conditions, these are types of animals that can have rabies sleeping in the same room as you. This house I recommend highly if you like rats, bats, ants, lizards, and possibly other creatures. I have photos of everything I’m stating I would not lie about this.
