"Dreamsea Nica is a paradise. Located between San Juan del Sur and Maderas surf Beach. When you enter through the gates you are immediately transported into a lush tropical paradise where the only sound is nature. The staff was friendly, attentive where anything you asked for was not a problem. The rooms were incredible. Tastefully decorated with a big comfortable bed, and veranda. The pool was refreshing with a Tiki bar to make everything right Yoga and surf was offered each day....

"Not on the beach: you walk 100 yards of dirt road to Playa Marsella (not a very good beach but good sunset) Room stripped down basic: mattresses have no box spring. One thin sheet on each bed in diff colors: they were like someone's old sheets. We had only 1'x1/2' window could be opened. AC lost a knob. Cold water shower only. 1st morning breakfast were one piece store-bought pancake topped w/ margarine and some scrambled eggs. Coffee only came once 2/3 cup. 2nd morning breakfast was even...

"Disappointed the room at the top of the hill (unique room) didn’t have running water to shower in the evening or morning. Very short periods only."

"I had the misfortune to arrive by bus from Managua on a rainy day. I thus had difficulty in finding the Hostal. When I did, at aout 7 pm, the person at the reception did not even ask to identify me, and I was led to a room with a window giving on the corridor, a small old sink giving only a tiny fillet or water, etc. Only cold water, but that seems to be general in San Juan. I eventually got used to all these "perks"..."

"This was a convenient spot for me as I only had a couple of days in San Juan and the staff is very helpful in all areas. It's a hostel so don't expect it to be quiet and take your own shower needs including a towel. Great stay and thank you"

"We didn’t end up staying at this hotel because she tried to double the price when we were paying. Hotels.com said 31.50 pay at hotel. When we arrived she said it was 52 and cash only. It also wasn’t close to the beach and she didn’t know how to use the computer or phone. We walked out and found a cute quiet hostel down the street with air conditioning and private bath for 25 "

"The phone number does not work or they never answered, when I got there the gate was closed, I called the phone number several times and no one answered, a neighbor girl was kind enough to call Don Mario who is the manager or owner, but he was more interested in listening to his music then to open the gate for us, we were there waiting in the rain for about 1/2hour, Trying to get his attention. Until we had no other option but to return to San Juan Del Sur and rent another hotel room at the last...

"This hostel doesnt even exist. We got there at midnight and we couldnt even find it, we had to find some other place to stay at midnight. There wasnt any signal outside. No lights. No nothing. Local people had never heard before of it. This was a terrible experience"
