Great beach getaway!
If you are looking for a true California beach vibe, this is the place to stay. Location is great. Restaurants and bars all in walking distance. Great for running or relaxing at the beach. The house was well maintained and furnished. It comes equipped with everything you need. We would stay again.

Great stay!
The home was clean and cozy. Aaron provided everything we needed for cooking and having fun. The beds were very comfortable. We walked and played in the ocean right out the front door every day! Walking distance to good food, groceries, etc. Good neighborhood. The grandchildren had a blast! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Spot!
We had a great family trip over the holidays. The house was just as described and the condo was in the best location! Our kids loved being able to jump out the door and onto the sand! It was fully stocked with extra towels, blankets, pillows, and even boogie boards and chairs for the beach. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals and there was ample storage space to keep luggage out of the way. My only suggestion would be a dehumidifier- nothing dried-even after hanging for 3 days, which we know longer dry time is normal for the beach, but even our bathroom floor had condensation on it the entire time. Nothing that was a big deal, just a suggestion. Communication with property manager was fantastic- they got back to us to answer questions or offer suggestions almost immediately! We could walk to numerous coffee shops, restaurants, and to Belmont Park. Everywhere else we went was under 20 min, including the airport. We loved our trip and would book this place again! Great little Lime Green Condo!

Nice Ocean Front Property
We were pleased with the property. The bedrooms have some updated bedspreads which were cute. I would hope the owners would consider installing a screen door on the front door, so the breeze can come through the home as the front windows do not open. We would return and next time will probably rent the upper level as it is bigger. Thanks!

Great location!
7 adults stayed. Amazing location! Although there were drawbacks: couch didn’t work as a bed, microwave didn’t work, smelled dangerously like a gas leak, not enough bath towels, beach towels, paper towels, or toilet paper, bbq had old food stuck, outdoor hose broken, trash in garage was full, old dishes in stinky dishwasher, master bed has a brick under a post protruding dangerously, in the shower was an old used wet washcloth, and on the sink a used toothbrush.

Location, Location, Location
My family of 7 stayed here for 4 nights. Me, my kids, my mom and 2 grandchildren, 5,3, along with our 2 dogs. The place had everything we could need for cooking our meals and sleeping. Beach front with so many things around. The place is clean and well stocked. Loved that we had a garage and washer and dryer. Even though the place is a little older, everything inside including appliances are new and everything worked well. We stayed here when it was overcast and hurricane Hilary came through which was a bummer for the rain one day but nothing you can do about the weather. My mom loved sitting on the porch watching the waves and sunset! She can’t go far due to her COPD, so it was perfect! The dogs loved being on the beach everyday before 9 and after 6. THX Aaron!

Misleading overview
This is a Top or Bottom home, not a full house as shown in the pictures and described in the overview. We had to share the garage space, the washer/dryer, the beach supplies, and the porch. That patio described in the overview, and shown in the picture, is only for upstairs. But I didn’t even know it was a split or that I had the bottom part of it until I got there when I met the property manager and she asked which one I was getting. When I called VRBO, they said no where was it listed as “private;” therefore, I should know that it could be a split home with some shared spaces. It might be ok if the people above you didn’t have young children like when we stayed. I think the owner should make it very clear in their overview what you are getting. I would have picked a different home if that were the case.

Hi, Bethany. I find it hard to believe that you thought the entire duplex (house) to be 2 bedroom/ one bathroom, based on the exterior photo? We've never had anyone else show up "surprised" to find that they didn't rent the entire home (which would be 5 bed, 3 bath). To be clear, you are the only guests allowed to park in the garage; the upstairs guests just have access so they can share the plethora of beach equipment and the free laundry onsite. The porch pictured is yours and only yours to enjoy, so you got that one wrong. If the tenants from upstairs were using it, we would have appreciated you reaching out and we would have informed them that their designated patio is upstairs. Hopefully you have better luck next time you rent a vacation rental, and make sure you read all details in the listing.

Lovely Lime House on Tangier
We had a wonderful time at this property starting of with the amazing host who was very welcoming and responsive our entire stay. The stay itself was perfect because the rental is equipped with everything possible and all of it was in excellent condition. This space is cute, roomy, and exactly as described. We loved being right on the boardwalk and steps from the ocean. We will be back!

My family stayed here for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. Location is the best part of it. Just right in front the beach and also in the nice down town like area where you get everything food/groceries etc. Good kitchen and a small TV(may be 40"), it can be bigger. Blinds on the window facing the beach was not working and I contacted Aaron and it was fixed quickly. Pets allowed. There is a small patio area enough place to sit for a small group of people but this area is not maintained. There were couple of wooden chairs without cushion. It did not look like they care and maintain that area. It will be nice to have a patio with nice seating area and also gated fence. There is no fence so, no place for me to leave my dog walk free. These are some upgrades that will make this place really amazing. There was a broken hose to wash the sand off, but it would have been nice to have decent shower outside. I will certainly consider staying here again but I have to admit that it is not topnotch rental but has the potential to be one. Checkout time is 10am. I requested early check-in and late checkout and Aaron gave me 2 extra hours. It was nice not having to rush to check out at 10am.

Stunning beachfront location
5 stars with a bullet for the location. Right on the oceanfront walk with a great sitting area to watch the sunset on the waves and passersby. I wouldn't have given it five starts to start, though. There's a distinct musty smell to the place that never dissipated, regardless how much we let it air out. And it was very difficult to get the right temperature (in December) for sleeping. We got in very late, set the thermostat and went to bed - and froze. The thermostat isn't connected to anything. Next night we set up the heaters and it was way too hot because their thermostats are ineffective. The answer: put a single heater in the kitchen facing the wall and leave the bedroom door open exactly one and a half inches. We sat down to watch the World Cup final the first morning and tried working the Direct TV per the instructions - but it wasn't connected to anything either. So that was disappointing. The boogie boards and beach toys were completely rag-tag - until we discovered that the upstairs neighbours had all of the good gear at their place, which they promptly brought back down. So a bit of a ragged start but the property manager saved the day by being so mind-bogglingly responsive. If I had a VRBO property I would hire him in a heartbeat. So 5 stars by the end, but you have to appreciate that, despite the cost, this is a cozy beach shack and not a luxury condo. The price is ALL for the location. And it's worth it. We would go back. P.S. great coffee shop and gyros a stone's throw away.

Perfect location
My family stayed in this house in November, 2022. The house itself is very cute, nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed including a toaster, blender and coffee maker. There is ample seating in the living room for our family of 5 with a large L-shaped sofa. The extras in the garage were a huge bonus. I didn't realize the water would be so cold and we used the wetsuits and boogie boards to swim in the ocean despite it being only 60 degrees! The view from the patio was perfect - gorgeous sunsets every night, right outside our door. Not only did we love being right on the boardwalk and the beach, but the location of the rental is only a few blocks from good beach restaurants and a big grocery store. We didn't have a car and this was very nice for us. I would definitely stay in this rental again.

Location was perfect! Weather was gorgeous. Great getaway. Property is a bit dated and there were a couple of minor issues (wifi and hot water out for about 12-24 hours, bbq wouldn't stay lit) but nothing too serious.

Perfect Location with Garage and Ocean Front Deck
We have stayed in this rental at least 4 times. We love it here! The huge oceanfront deck is perfect for people watching on the boardwalk and beach. Very convenient for beach days to grab whatever you need throughout the day. The 2 car garage is great. We have a large SUV, which fits on one side and the other is great for all of our bikes, skateboards and beach gear. Love having a washer-dryer too. The house has most of what you need in the kitchen and throughout. This year's addition of bunk beds in one room, a new dining table and some decorations throughout was great too! We will definitely continue to stay in this place in the future. We stay here if it's just our family but will get a bigger place if traveling with another family. There is also the option to rent the upstairs unit too for multiple families, but we haven't been able to coordinate that yet. The property manager was very responsive and great to work with. An all-around great experience!

Easy to check-in and check out. Very clean and good place to relax with your family! Complete beach Essentials that you need, so you're stress free. Just the issue with parking, we drove 2 cars... and hard to look for 2nd parking along the mission Blvd. So it's easier if you just go with 1 car. But lovely place and will rent here again for sure. Awesome Beach Front Living!
This is the first time I have ever rented a beach house, and now I am planning on making it an annual tradition! My wife and kids LOVED it! Super easy to get in and out. I was able to park my vehicle in a locked garage. Store and restaurants are all within walking distance.

Overall, we were disappointed. This is the short version.
The view/location is great but the house needs attention. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds were comfortable but the house and furnishings felt dirty (the place really needs a deep cleaning). I had to throw some food out that was stored in a kitchen cabinet due to an infestation of ants. The owner's response was "there are always ants at the beach". I've never had an ant problem at any of the other properties I've stayed at. The kitchen is stocked with nothing but mismatched and worn out/broken pots, pans, dishes and silverware. There's a dishwasher but no dishwashing soap. I mentioned it to the owner/manager and his response was, "Oh really. I own 5 properties and I can't keep them straight...." and basically laughed it off. I heard this excuse many times. My thoughts are, if you can't effectively manage 5 properties, you shouldn't be managing 5 properties. Know that you won't get the rental agreement until the day of arrival AFTER you remind the owner to send it (like you already don't have enough to worry about on travel day). If you want to know what you're signing up for you might want to try and get a copy of it prior to the cancellation deadline. I texted the owner that we smelt gas in the kitchen. The owner's response "call sdge"...(wth is "sdge"?, turns out it's the gas company). The gas company came, found a leak and shut the gas off. The owner said he'd be over "at 9 or 10" the next morning to do repairs so we were all up and dressed by 9. I sent a text at 10:19 to find out when he was coming, an hour later the response was "I'll be over in an hour" (12:15). After contacting him AGAIN at 1:25, he finally showed up shortly after (4.5 hours late). It took until close to 4pm to complete the simple repair. In the garage there are a good amount of useable beach chairs and one beach umbrella (I only remember seeing one). Two surfboards, not sure of their condition, 2 useable boogie boards (out of 4 or 5), and various wet suits (not sure of the condition). Overall the place doesn't seem to be cared for/given the attention it needs and we really felt a lack of respect from the owner.

Beach Get Away
Great beach pad. Good location. Good parking. Lots of surf toys. Not to high end but comfortable. Not in a high transient area, which was a plus. Front row beach access. I give it 2 thumbs up.
