Great place
The condo was very clean and well kept. We stayed here last week, my family and two others. 4 children in total ages 1-4. It worked well for us. Would definitely stay here again. Parking is a big plus even though one of the spaces is a little tight. Makaela was awesome and always very responsive to communications when I reached out to her.

There is no better view than the living room full of windows. The weather was not great, but we could watch boat traffic, seals, dolphins and fishing birds from our sofas! It was a little bit further to the beach than I had anticipated. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction on the road outside the unit and we lost water a couple of times — not the owners fault, but a noisy inconvenience during our stay. The two dining spaces were great. We had games at one and meals at the other. Overall, a good experience.

Such a special place!
This is our second time staying at this condo now nicknamed our "Happy Place". We loved it so much that we decided to celebrate my 16 years olds birthday there as a family. We got to experience tropical storm Hillary from the safety of our beautiful condo and experienced the most beautiful sunsets when it wasn't raining!

Perfect Location
This VRBO condo was a winner for our family of 8 adults and 3 kids under five. We were close to the beach, bay, park and attractions. The condo was clean with great views of the bay, ocean and fireworks at Sea World. We enjoyed spotting the wildlife in the bay and watching the boaters, kayakers and fishermen. There were lots of beach supplies, an elevator and 2 parking spots. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this perfect location!

We loved our time at this place! The space was very clean and has a well-stocked kitchen and offered ample space for 7 adults, 2 teenagers, a toddler and a baby. The views are spectacular, and the proximity to the beach is amazing. Getting to the airport and the zoo only took about 15-20 min. The host answered all questions quickly and was super accommodating! Highly recommended!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. This property has a great corner view of the channel with all the activity that entails and wonderful dolphin and seal sightings. Ocean view is more distant and have to peak around corner of the small balcony to see beach. Living room/dining area is spacious but furniture is not very comfortable and somewhat flimsy. Kitchen is large and has basics though we felt such things as glass cleaner for the table and dishwashing detergent should have been provided. The primary bedroom and bath and closet are good size but other rooms are small without convenient closet access. The third bathroom is very, very tiny. For three couples this was not ideal. If you’re looking for ocean front access this isn’t it. Though it is a short walk to the sand carrying all the beach gear makes it more difficult (the beach cart has no sides and everything falls off). The property is older and could use some updating, especially in the bedrooms and bathrooms. As three older couples we enjoyed the wonderful view but for young families with children it’s a bit of a trek to the beach and water.

Fabulous location.

This was an amazing VRBO! We had 10 girls and it fit everyone perfectly! The view was breathtaking and it was very clean and it had everything you need for a stay. The property owner was great and responsive. Highly recommend!

Spring break stay
Awesome place steps from the beach! We had such a great experience here. 10 of us stayed at the property and felt like we were all comfortable. We loved the views from the windows in the living room. Also really appreciated all the fans to keep us cool when it would get a bit warm during the afternoon. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely return again!

It is all about the view!
This property is located at the bottom of S. Mission Bay with views of the channel, S Mission Park and the ocean beyond. It is on the middle level with elevator access(There is 1 floor of condos above and below) 2 off street secured parking spaces. It is in a quiet area. Some noise from the street but all is quiet by 10pm. You can also be stuck with busy neighbors upstairs. The noise does carry. Not the owners fault. Restaurants, shops, bike rentals are about a mile up the beach. Very walkable. The property itself is laid out as shown in the pictures, with the Living and dining areas overlooking the channel with a small grilling deck off the dining area. The kitchen with a nice prep area and another dining area. It is well furnished with the all important wine glasses, rocks glasses, dishware and pots and pans. Could use a pizza cutter, server, measuring cups/spoons, and a metal spatula for the grill (but I suppose some idiot would use it on the nonstick pans, so I understand) Heading down the hall with park/oceanside views is a BR 1 with a king bed and balcony. Further down the hall is a very small bathroom with a small walk-in shower. Further down the hall is BR2 (main) with a king, balcony and en suite bathroom. At the end of the hall is a nice bathroom. Heading back up the hall are 2 more bedrooms, streetside. Each with a F/Q and a Twin. Note that these 2 bedrooms have patio door access to the main exterior hallway for the building, so really not balconies, and so we probably would not leave doors open for breezes. Fans and extra heaters are located in closets. The unit was very very clean. We met the cleaning staff on the way out and they were very welcoming and friendly. We appreciated the coffee, soaps and shampoos. This property rightly focuses on the views. Because it is minimally furnished, it feels more like a rental than a home.(no headboards, sidetables..) We would have appreciated better lighting to enjoy reading books at night. The only real ding is: this 4 br condo needs a standard 10-12 cup coffee pot. Only a 5c was available. Also, time for new pillows. (mattresses were in good shape) Thanks for a great stay

Beautiful property! Felt safe. Windows everywhere to enjoy the sounds of the ocean and air out the home. Plenty of room for the guests. It couldnt be helped but there was construction/sewer issues and the water was out for a day. Bad for us because we were in town for a wedding and couldn’t get ready properly. For future renters: make sure to check local construction around the area if you’re in town for an important event. Had we known to do the same or been warned by the owners- we could’ve made other arrangements ahead of time.

Perfect Vacation for our family.
Absolutely breath taking view, and very comfortable condo. Loved close access to beach and bay. So beautiful and we enjoyed every day. Gorgeous sunsets, and overall calming feeling. The spacious windows and door walls make you feel like you are right on top of the water. Saw some sea lions and dolphins from dining room windows, and enjoyed seeing the boats and rowing teams. Wish there were screens on all the doors as we had to deal with several moths and flies coming in, because we always kept the doors open when we were in condo. The breeze was like being outdoors. Having a kitchen and grill to cook if we wanted to was great. Kitchen supplies and appliances were not fancy but there were enough to make some very nice meals. Loved having an elevator and easy parking, and access to some beach toys. Makela was very accessible to us. It can be a busy area on weekends with some loud cars and motorcycles, but this has nothing to do with the condo and can happen anywhere. Our family rented bikes and they delivered directly to condo area. We feel lucky to have had such a perfect vacation. The View was MAGNIFICENT! I hope we will be able to return another time soon. Property was as advertised. Beautiful views and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. It was warm while we’re there so the condo was warm as well. No AC but fans are provided in each room. The property is also in the departure path of the airport. Didn’t really bother us though. Overall a great stay.

Pros and Cons
Pros: The view is stunning, and the property is very secure. Having two designated parking spaces in the parking garage is great. The condo is quite large and accommodates a lot of people. Proximity to both the ocean and the bay worked well for my family. Cons: I think mostly because of the location, the neighborhood was quite noisy. In general, the condo was not particularly clean. For example, we found a number of dirty cups in the cupboard. Then, the fans looked dirty. Windows did not appear to have been cleaned in some time. In addition to cleanliness issues, the light plugs on the wall with the view windows did not work, and several ceiling lights in the living room were out. The kitchen had boarded up cupboard areas, lending an air of shabbiness to the place. The bathrooms showed a great deal of wear and did not look inviting. The bathroom towel sets were old, worn, and not at all attractive. Many need to be replaced. Also, perhaps a few more rolls of toilet paper and paper towels could be provided. We had to buy some additional rolls of each ourselves. In general, I was disappointed in the overall condition of the condo, especially since it was quite pricey per night. It is clear that the view and the size are what you are paying for. In spite of the disappointing condition of the condo, my family did have a good time.

The perfect fit!
Spacious condo with spectacular views! This unit is perfectly situated at the end of Mission Beach. We loved watching boats go by and of course seeing dolphins! We felt very clean and safe here with our two kids and dog. Dog Beach is nearby if you bring your pup along! The owner was easily reachable by text though we had no issues. We would definitely stay here again.

An Oasis during the Stress
What a wonderful place to contemplate the coming of the virus .. The condo was extremely clean, and it was everything the write up said it was. Our host was immediate about fixing our wi-fi connection and we always felt there were available to us. We felt safe in the neighborhood and so enjoyed the wonderful view. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to either stay in place, and gaze out the wonderful floor to ceiling windows or stroll along the beach. We could not have been more satisfied. Carol

Condo was pretty true to pictures online. Views were absolutely stunning. Quiet building, comfy beds. Great that parking was included! Beach was very clean and the boardwalk nearby felt safe to walk on in the evening. Good neighborhood with loads of restaurants down Mission Blvd. Close proximity to all of the tourist high notes in San Diego. Kitchen cabinets a little worn/outdated. Bathrooms a little worn/outdated. Husband is in a wheelchair. Property is pretty accessible. Bathrooms will be tough for someone who needs a shower chair. Overall a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend.
