This condo is a modern two-story loft style unit. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs. Living area and kitchen upstairs with balcony and downtown views. STRO LICENSE NUMBER: STR-04197L TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX CERTIFICATE NUMBER: 644662 The space is highlighted by its beautiful downtown views, floor-to-ceiling windows, vintage, rustic and modern design elements all coming together wonderfully. PLEASE NOTE: We offer one Twin size air mattresses with full bedding -- this is stored in the closet in the guest bedroom; bedding is upstairs in the lower cabinet by laundry room. This is the premier location for anywhere in downtown. Local eateries, ballpark, shopping, and historic Gaslamp are all quite literally a hop, skip and jump away in any direction. Because of our proximity to Petco Park (baseball stadium), access to the building might be tricky and limited at times. You might not be able to drive into the garage at times. Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer on site (in unit), balcony with views (but strict NO smoking rules) Guests will have access to the entire condo - including 1 parking space in the garage. \*\*Important: we use KEYCAFE to hold our keys, read below: \-Keys are not available until 4pm of arrival day and not available after 10pm. \-For check in AND check out, guests will have to walk approximately 1.5 blocks each way to a 7-eleven convenience store nearby and pick up the keys from a secured lockbox using the code provided via email/text. \-Please make sure to account for this step on departure day as well. More detailed instructions provided after your booking is confirmed. \*Important: guest will have to pick up the keys from a KeyCafe location that is approximately 5 minutes from the property. We are 15 minutes walking distance from SD Convention Center (0.7mi) Please only book out place if you can check in between 4-10pm and check out by 11am the day of your departure. Late Checkout Policy Guests must check out by the designated checkout time specified in the rental agreement. Additional Cleaning Policy Guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably clean condition, consistent with normal use. Any cleaning required beyond what is considered normal or reasonable, as determined by the property management, will result in an additional cleaning fee of $100 per hour. This fee covers costs such as extended cleaning times or specialized cleaning needs. Examples of excessive cleaning needs include, but are not limited to, excessive trash, stains or spills requiring professional treatment, pet hair in non-pet-friendly units, or other conditions requiring significant labor. We will make every effort to accurately reflect the additional work needed and the time required to complete it, providing documentation (e.g., photos, cleaning logs) upon request to ensure transparency. Important Fee Disclosure for Long-Term Stays (30+ Days): Should this property be reserved for 28 days or more, we reserve the right to apply additional monthly fees to cover certain ongoing expenses (eg utilities) not included in the standard nightly rate. These may include, but are not limited to: • Gas and electricity • Water and sewer • Trash and recycling • Internet and streaming services • Other utility or maintenance surcharges applicable to the home which will be known prior to the time of booking These fees may be assessed as either: • A flat monthly fee, or • A fee calculated as up to 5% of the monthly rent. Use of electrical appliances not provided with the Property, such as hot plates, heating coils, coffeepots, popcorn poppers, electric frying pans, toaster ovens, irons, and electric heaters are prohibited. We enjoyed the chance to cook food, hang out, and enjoy the balcony, while being close to everything. It was so much nicer than a hotel! Having the bedrooms on the lower level worked well for us. It is very close to Gaslamp. It does edge a pretty sketchy neighborhood, but as long as you walk the other way (to Gaslamp), it is fine. Super close to Petco Park too. We didn’t cook there so can’t say much about the kitchen other than appears to be plenty of cookware and none of the basic pantry staples such as salt/pepper. Coffee maker worked great and filters were supplied. Freezer had plenty of ice. Beds are comfy and bathrooms are clean. Bathroom tub/shower is super slippery and may pose hazard to older guests and children. Loved the Lavender scented Body Wash supplied. There were plenty of cleaning supplies so we were able to clean up if/when needed. Washer/dryer work great. The check-in process is tedious and laborious- send pic of this, send pic of that, sign here, initial here, pick up key at nearby store. Then once you click on the link to pick up key then all the rental information disappears and difficult to find parking spaces after info disappeared. House rules disappeared as well. There should be a folder in the unit with all the info the renter needs. Way too many emails were sent with different links and instructions to keep track of which email belonged to which instructions. Loved the rental. Tedious pre-checkin and checkin process. I’ve rented lots of vacation rental properties and this checkin process has been by far the worst. However, once we got in and settled we enjoyed the unit very much. ##### Sandy F. Bedrooms are on separate level from Living room/Kitchen. There is essentially NO NOISE between floors and neighbors. The beds are comfy. The ceilings are probably 13-15 feet high The windows are huge and there is a lot of natural light. One thing that wasn’t featured in the listing is a real strong suit: the balcony. I enjoyed working from there - theres an outlet. The property looks as good as the pictures. No issues with wifi speed Its in a great part of town! If you want a great work-from coffee shop, try Invigatorium on ninth (2 blocks) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ##### Abdullah S.
