"West coast meets east coast elegance exemplified in this hotel. Expect to be treated well and enjoy a fun filled resort stay. There is a lot of great things to say and the restaurants are amazing. Main pool is crowded and busy. My main negative is the beach rentals. As a resort, that should be included and not as extra. Other than that, we really felt on vacation separate from main land and enjoyed the entire experience. Nobu and Serea both had amazing food and service. Definitely recommend. Sun deck is always a favorite. Menu is limited but very good. Bar drinks were my favorite. "

"We spent 3 nights at Glorietta Bay Inn to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. This was new for us, since we've traditionally stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado when coming to town, but unfortunately their post-renovation pricing has just gone out of what is reasonable for us. We stayed for less than half of that, and were right across the street from the Del so getting there was still something we enjoyed every day we were there. The staff at the Glorietta were very friendly, and the only thing we took down a notch from perfection was comfort because the bathroom was a little on the tight side, size-wise - only one sink, and the toilet/shower room resembled those on cruise ships - but that was the only thing that stopped us from giving that one 5 stars too. We will definitely be back."

"Need a car to go places besides downtown Coronado island. Free shuttle available to downtown Coronado only. Loew’s beach access area is below average, need to go across the street thru a pedestrian underpass for better beach area."

"First of all, what is there not to like? This literally was a five minute walk to the beach and the hotel Del Coronado. We had all the restaurants and conveniences as if we were staying at the hotel Del Coronado, but at a fraction of the cost. Love the happy hour and complementary hot served breakfast. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. "

"Great option when visiting Coronado! My friends were in town staying at the Del - their room was 4x the price and not as big as this one, did not have microwave, no free beach toys and chairs and bikes to use! Very friendly property and cozy, clean comfy room and bed. Would recommend and return!"

"My daughter and Granddaughter spent a night here before our flight home. It was absolutely the perfect place for us. We walked to the beach the first evening, it took us maybe 8 minutes and the walk is beautiful. They had snacks and the perfect breakfast assortment that got us on our way the next morning. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the house was so cute. The employees as well as the other guests were so kind and welcoming. Thank you!!! "

"We really loved staying at this property. It's a bit aged but they take care of it and the value for money is there. The location was just amazing. We could walk to a beach facing San Diego city or a beach at the other end near Hotel Del Coronado. There were so many shops and dining options. The room was spacious and I particularly liked the desk set-up as I wound up having to do some work at night. The breakfast was also great."
