"There are a lot of steps to get to this hotel and the altitude makes each step hard! The apartments are all artistically decorated and the service is great."
"The property is beautiful, however it’s showing wrong location on Google maps. Casa de campo will be the right spot. Our room had fireplace but due to no ventilation room gets smokey. Amazing staff! Internet pretty weak and inconsistent. Amazing view of the city. Get ready to walk up some steps to get there! "

"AC in room 405 didnt work properly and it was warm in the room. The windows open but too noisy outside to sleep. "

"Enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much!
First of all, its conveniently located, walkable distance from so many touristic spots.
The stuff was just lovely, incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy to answer any question and to help and even suggest where to go, always there at the front desk at every hour, always smiling :)
The breakfast was deliciously simple and fulfilling.
The only problem for me was the shower - the water kept changing from hot to cold and the other way around. Which wasnt really bad, just didnt make one wish to prolong the shower ;)
All in all, I'll absolutely stay there again"
"Amazing stay in Cusco, in the middle of everything. Clean and comfortable hotel with everything you might need. No complaints whatsoever, great service too!!"

"Like much of Peru, the people working at Tierra Viva went the extra mile to ensure that my friend and I had a comfortable stay. They made us feel right at home (addressing us by name as we entered and exited the property). We went on a Salkantay trek and stayed at Tierra Viva prior to and after the hike. They happily stored our luggage and had it waiting in our new room prior to our return. The property is conveniently a short walk away from the Plaza de Armas. The rooms are well insulated from the outside sound and we slept comfortably. Highly recommend!"
