"Like much of Peru, the people working at Tierra Viva went the extra mile to ensure that my friend and I had a comfortable stay. They made us feel right at home (addressing us by name as we entered and exited the property). We went on a Salkantay trek and stayed at Tierra Viva prior to and after the hike. They happily stored our luggage and had it waiting in our new room prior to our return. The property is conveniently a short walk away from the Plaza de Armas. The rooms are well insulated from the outside sound and we slept comfortably. Highly recommend!"

"The property was quaint, and inclusive. Staff was great, and helpful. I loved the baby Alpaca Kiki in the courtyard. The restaurant staff was amazing, and the food delicious. The beds were comfortable. I liked the live music in the courtyard in the evenings. "
