The property is located in kind of a sketchy area but overall is safe and clean. There is a McDonald located right next to it and an HEB on the other side of the highway. The front desk last at check in was very sweet and kind and overall had a great experience! The room was clean and looked great for the price!

Nice clean rooms, no issues with bugs. It was very quiet. Lots of light in the parking lot so felt very secure. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. A/C worked great. I'd stay again, especially for the price.

The staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms were spacious although they didn't have a full-size refrigerator or kitchenette as stated in the description. Other than that I would stay with this establishment again

It was barely dusk and the check in door was closed. It felt very unsafe at times and to have to yell through a window to the clerk was not what I expected for the price I paid. I could not even hear what he was telling me. Glanced around the parking lot filled with broken beer bottles and cars missing headlights/windows, I warily went to my non smoking room where cigarette burns on the linens awaited me. A bag over the smoke detector. I went to turn the heat on and there was gross mold looking stuff on the unit. It smelled gross. I tried to turn the TV on to entertain my child and it wouldn't. I opened the remote to find damaged batteries. I did not even want to leave the room to complain to the clerk because it felt so unsafe. I also heard everything in the rooms around and outside. I see the effort in the remodel but the slight facelift was not worth it . When we checked out I told the morning clerk about the concerns and he was dismissive at best. Saying he was going to write it down to relay and never did. Seemed concerned about the burns on a non smoking room then tried to dismiss.i trusted some of the better reviews and maybe my stay was a one off but I just expected more for the $140/night I paid.

The property is old and does not have easy access or egress but it was clean, reasonably priced and close to food sources.

I did not like that the check-in process was through a glass window-that already gave me an unsafe vibe. A suspicious vehicle was outside my building for over an hour with the car running. I killed two bugs in my room and found hair in the shower and bathroom floor.
