Every amenity is well considered. Bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom is a nice space. The kitchen is very well equipped. It's a sweet property just a few blocks from the center of the small charming Texas town of Boerne. The Duck Inn was warm, welcoming, and beautiful as we walked in and we immediately felt at home. With two bedrooms, a comfortable living room, a well-appointed kitchen area, and a sweet private back yard area, it was perfect for us. Our hosts, Karen and John, knew we were coming to see the eclipse and communicated with us frequently before the trip to let us know what to expect due to the likely higher-than-normal number of visitors in town. They provided very useful advice so we would be well prepared and could make the most of our trip. The location is great! We very much enjoyed exploring Boerne, which has a lot of character and many interesting shops and places to eat. We also enjoyed driving around the spectacular Texas hill country. Throughout our stay, Karen and John could not have been more gracious. They checked in to see how we were doing and even invited us to their ranch to see the eclipse, which made the eclipse a memorable experience even though the clouds obscured it.
