"Honestly we were only inside for sleeping. We spent the entire time out on either the deck or on the screened in porch. My mom called the screened in part her little tree house, because it felt more like being in the trees due to how the property sits. Even though all the beautiful oaks & magnolia trees block a full view of the lake from the porches, you only have to wander over to the pavilion, fire pit or dock to take in it’s beauty. So many wonderful memories my momma & her sisters made as they reunited for the first time in several years. Thank you for opening your home to us."

"The room was clean, shower water pressure was pitiful, very low pressure and flow. Bed was very comfortable. The wi Dow shades would not close and the sheer screen let in to much light from the parking lot. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff were helpful."

"Room was nice, beds are comfortable. It was hot they have a pool, but it was not at all kept up, I actually had to take there broken skimmer and clean all the bugs out ( well what I could). Other than that it's a nice hotel."

"My stay at the candlewood suites got off to a rocky start. The room I had paid for 2 months in advance was not available when I checked in. I had been downgraded from a one-bedroom suite to a king room. Definitely this was not what I expected nor would I had paid for. they had sold my room to another customer that would be in the room. Two more nights. Though I had paid for four nights, I was only able to stay in the room I paid for in advance two nights. When I ran into trouble during check-in, I was instructed by the hotel's agent to call hotels.com for a refund on the two nights that I had to stay in the king room I did receive a refund even though it wasn't as much as I thought it should be."
