"If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is a rural paradise. This, our first visit to Andalusia, was in the first two weeks in April 2024. Every day was sunny and we enjoyed daytime temperatures in excess of 25C. Temperatures at night were as low as 12C and some form of heating may be needed. The property is run by a young couple who are extremely helpful and friendly. During our stay they generously provided us with their locally produced olive oil, eggs from their hens and asparagus....

"Villa is in a great location if you want to experience rural Spanish life in a mountain setting. However that comes with a couple of kilometre drive along a hilly country road which is in part unmade. If hiring a car, something to consider. At times power and water are off line but nothing too drastic. Property could have been cleaner for our arrival and requires new pool chairs. La fora parece uma casa ao abandono, suja, sem o minimo cuidado. Apesar de anunciar AC e os quartos e sala terem nao havia comandos, e após questionar o dono disse que o anuncio fala em AC mas isso nao quer dizer que estejam todos a funcionar. "A beautiful house, in a stunning location. Definitely need a car. The house accommodated 11 people well, with plenty of space. The pool was fantastic, but deep. Alan and his wife next door were very friendly and accommodating. Great communication with owner prior to arrival."

"Two families travelled together, the property was exactly as advertised, large, well equipped and in a rural location. Don’t be confused with nearest beach being on the coast as this was not the case, to get to the sea it was a 45 minute drive. It was extremely hot when we were there and although all rooms were equipped with fans the bedrooms may have benefited from having air con, however having said that mosquito nets at the window meant you could leave shutters and windows open all night....

"The villa is very well equipped (especially the kitchen) and the internal space is very comfortable. The terrace and pool area is ideal for a family group, with a good outdoor dining space and fantastic panoramic views over the surrounding hills. The villa's orientation makes it great for enjoying the sunset from the terrace. The garden is also lovely and well maintained (albeit on a steep slope). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."
