"The first thing you should know is that this is not a hotel. It's an apartment with two flats, one on the second floor and one on the third floor, above a storefront about half way between the Ueno and Asakusa stations. That said, it's not bad as a rental apartment, and was a good fill-in for us when our Air BnB booking was cancelled on short notice. All of the communication with the owner was via the Expedia site - we never met anyone in person, but got check-in instructions via messages...

"If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would! They went above and beyond for us from communicating with our airline due to delayed baggage, allowing us to check in an entire day late due to flight delays and finally storing our items for us after we checked out that we accidentally left in the safe! Their dedication to excellent hospitality and honesty goes beyond what we have ever experienced in our travels. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Tokyo. We will only be staying in this hotel from now on whenever we visit Japan. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay!"
