We had such a lovely time and will come back to continue exploring the area - so much to do!"

"Nadine is an amazing host. She is very considerate and made us feel welcomed. She will go out of her way to help. The property was very clean and nicely appointed. The bedrooms upstairs were a bit hot but the weather was unusually hot for the time of year. It might be a good idea to invest in some air conditioning units for times when it is unbearable. We were very happy with our stay and Nadine was an excellent host."

"This is a beautiful traditional style French house of the region. It is a bit rustic in places, but absolutely packed with charm and character. The location is amazing - what you see in the photos is exactly how it is. The river is a 60-second walk away with easy access in and out of the water. "La Tissonie is great and totally private and in such a beautiful rural location but only 10 minutes from the town of Riberac which has a fantastic market on a Friday. Fred was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to ask a few things. "Very clean pleasant gite offering a spot opposite it to rest. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. "Thoroughly well equipped two bedroom apartment, which was very easy to live in. We loved the location, right amongst the Bordeaux wine region and only 20 minutes drive to Bordeaux.
