"Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). We had a nice little outside seating area. You can walk to the nearby beach. Beaches for swimming is a 10 min car ride away. Quite expensive for what it is."

Family members were available for our transport. We had to find somewhere to stay at short notice, to attend a family funeral. August in France is always booked up well in advance."

"We had a great stay and fantastic weather. Katia, the owner, was really welcoming and really made us feel at home. The property is a bit quirky but clean and well-equipped with plenty of space outside for relaxing, plus a table tennis room and a covered BBQ area. It's an ideal base for exploring the Normandy sights or riding bikes in the quiet lanes."
