"Good location, very near to the Basel airport. The hotel is an old beautiful house converted to a hotel, giving a beautiful and old appearance.
However we were disappointed with the food in the restaurant which was very expensive and not great taste so would recommend to avoid."
"Stayed here many times as gives a reasonably priced option for Basel. Tram stop less than 5 mins walk away which takes you into central Basel in 10 mins. Hotel itself is fabulous. I’ll stay again. "

A verified traveller stayed at GAIA Hotel Basel - the sustainable 4 star hotel
"Working in Basel so booked into a superior room on 9th floor. Very spacious with a table of 4 chairs so easy to work and have dinner. Fan included so no air conditioning unit but comfortable. Nice large windows so lots of breeze. Shower is high pressure so amazing to use and overall very comfortable.
Breakfast was continental and lots of options to choose from. Will defo book again!
Uber is difficult to call BUT taxi is available on demand at reception."
"No AC available. A fan would have even helped since the windows don’t open but just a slit. Way too warm & stuffy in the room without some air movement. "

When you come from the airport you don't need to buy a bus ticket to your hotel as your hotel reservation entitles you to free travel.
Over all great experience with and in the hotel. Will stay again."
