Good hotel.

A little off the main road needing a dirt track to get to, however the accommodation is set into lovely surroundings looking over the river below. Room was large with large patio and bathroom. Clean throughout and good AC. Comfortable bed. Limited for transport here unless you have your own, so taxi costs can amount quite quickly. Need to walk up to the main road (10 mins) for additional dinning options.

Bedsheets and blanket were badly worn out and seemed unwashed for weeks, hot water would only last 2 mins and then one has to wait 20 mins to heat up and then would again last only 2mins, we were charged for extra bed which they never gave us.

Decent resort in Kumbalgarh

The staff at the reception consisted of a man and a lady. The guy acted quite snobbish and was not polite at all and had no smile on the face. The lady was also not very polite but was at least helpful and tried to get the things sorted out. This part was really disspointing. The rooms were big but not in a very good condition. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working and when I complaint I was told that this exhaust fan is not working but will have no negative influence :-( The views from the property are really nice and the outdoors is well maintained. The swimming pool looked good and had a direct view of the lake.

Value for Money!

It is value for money resort. There are many resorts with good view, but this one is with good view and good landscaping which impressed us lot. Nice lawn, waterfall, other landscaping, bamboo trees..etc. Service is good and food was better than expected. Only two improvements I would suggest : there can be some varieties in fruits during breakfast instead of just water melon and some of the furniture in room/bathroom needs to be refurbished but this points are not the reason to avoid this resort. Staff is always helpful to prepare customized food. Overall very good and refreshing stay!
