"Miguel was a perfect host, he had a fire going in the wood stove in our room as it was chilly out. He designed and oversaw the renovations made to his families home, and his attention to detail made our upstairs suite and the entire house very comfortable. "My husband and I reserved two nights at the Finca but once we arrived added a third. The house is remarkable (inner courtyard, fireplaces in the rooms, lovely dining area) surrounded by pristine fields and orchards. We received first-rate service and hospitality. Can’t beat the location
"Beautiful hotel in amazing surroundings. Serra de Estrela is absolutely gorgeous! Would love to go back. Their jacuzzi was out of order and their spa pool has only one waterfall working, hence the 4 stars on the condition. Breakfast is quite good. One of our dinners was superb, the second dinner was so so. Service was nice. All in all I would consider staying there again. You can’t beat the location."
