"Lovely helpful staff, nice breakfast, central location. I chose this Hotel due to its great central location near the historic city of Intramuros and Chinatown and its location is great. However, I have a warning for solo travellers - I was approached by a street gang of children on the main bridge and threatened and almost robbed - so would advise not to walk in the local area. I reported it to the management of the hotel and front desk to warn other visitors. "

"During my first day’s stay at the Seda Hotel, my experience was unfortunately unpleasant. Upon entering the room, there was already an unpleasant odor. I initially tried to ignore it, hoping it would eventually dissipate. That evening, I went out for a massage, thinking the smell might improve by the time I returned. However, when I came back, I felt very thirsty and drank the water provided on the counter. As I opened the refrigerator cabinet, I was shocked to find a small cockroach inside. This made me extremely uncomfortable and uneasy. I immediately contacted the service desk to request a room transfer. I would like to commend the manager on duty that evening, who responded promptly and handled the situation professionally. He ensured that I was transferred to another room and made every effort to make me feel comfortable and safe. Overall, while the initial experience was disappointing, I truly appreciate the responsiveness and care shown by the staff, especially the manager."

"There’s no slippers and no signal to watch tv"

"The hotel has been nicely remodeled and the rooms are clean and well appointed. There’s nothing else in terms of amenities - no restaurant, cafe, or anything else - but there are plenty available in the neighborhood. I would stay there again, but would request a room not overlooking the road. The traffic noise just can’t be blocked out. I had to change rooms after a noisy first night, but the staff were very gracious about it."

"This property is like the “curates egg” some things ok some poor. The poor are: no credit card charge facilities at hotel, only cash There is no breakfast facility availability The dining area is totally geared to Chinese The tv is thru an analog system that keeps dropping out"
