« This place is…fine? That’s probably the best word I’d use to describe it. The real head-scratcher is that there are “No Smoking” signs everywhere, yet people seem to be smoking throughout the property — including inside the rooms. It smells like cigarettes 24/7. So…if that’s a dealbreaker for you, I’d definitely look elsewhere. If not, it’s serviceable, but that’s about all I can say. »

« A most delightful stay at this impeccably clean family-owned property. Very comfortable bed and very well-appointed breakfast bar with GOOD coffee. It was very evident that this family makes hospitality a priority. Should i travel to Emmetsburg again this would be my 1st choice of accommodation. Five minutes up the road to the casino. « My room was super clean. For an older motel it was painted and fresh and new looking and I live parking right in front of my door. The property had baskets of flowers at each door which were stunning. A wonderful touch and the pricing was extremely good considering being the the lakes area of NW Iowa. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again when I'm in the area. »
