"This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. "

"We had a great time for couples weekend! The house was very clean and the check in process was easy! We enjoyed the town of Perham and also enjoyed hanging at the house. The hot tub was an added bonus and we had a nice fire down by the beach. We did bring our own wood. The one downside was that the gas fireplace did not work again. This was our second time staying at the house and the fireplace didn’t work then either. But other than that it is a great place!!!! We will definitely stay again!"

"Stayed here over a long weekend with my wife on a winter getaway. This place was everything we were looking for. From the saunas to the hot tub everything was amazing and help provide a quiet relaxing weekend away to read and unwind. Josh was an amazing host. Was always quick to respond and help with anything we had questions on. We've used VRBO for years and I'll say Josh was the most gracious and responsive host we have ever had. Thanks for such an amazing weekend."
