"The Globe Inn is comfortable and cozy with delicious breakfasts and drinks! We loved all the options for where you could sit, relax, and have a drink or snack--both indoors and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the town of Well-next-the-sea is adorable."

"Warm welcome on arrival, although it says hotel entrance on one side of the building, but by the time you’ve walked all the way through, you’re back in the bar! Only one towel in the room but this was quickly sorted once reported. The room was clean, with plenty of hot water, tea & coffee. The only issues we had in the room (no9) was we couldn’t turn the radiator off, so had to have the windows open and then had a lot of road nose, and someone had jammed the shower on maximum heat. Both were reported to maintenance. We had a great evening in the restaurant, but didn’t have breakfast. "

"Staff were all lovely, but the hotel is like walking back into the 90’s. It was so dated, the pool/sauna/steam room haven’t reopened post covid and it just felt really neglected. Not what I’d usually expect from a Mercure"
