« Very convenient and spacious apartment - the only one on the 5th floor. Lovely to be able to sit on the balcony in the very hot weather, as the flat was quite hot. There is a fan but it wasn't particularly effective. Plenty of storage space, a huge TV and big living area. Comfortable bed.
A few minor niggles - the flat feels a bit tired. Loose carpet in the hall, and loose floor tiles in the bathroom. The bathroom extractor fan did not seem to be working. Some of the venetian blinds were...

« Really well placed for shops and pubs/restaurants etc., whilst still on a quiet enough residential street. After a very long journey in the heat really didn't want to get the car out again and was able to walk to the Tesco Express and back in less than ten minutes. Check-in and communication with host was great - we phoned twice and the call was answered immediately both times. We were put into a different house on arrival to what we'd expected but this was no problem and probably better than...

« We had a wonderful stay at Spindle Cottage in Bielby. It’s a lovely, traditional cottage full of character, set in a peaceful rural location that’s perfect for switching off and relaxing.
Despite the quiet setting, it’s only a short drive to nearby supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, which made it really convenient. The hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.
A great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable countryside stay...

« We had a really lovely stay here! The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and you truly can’t beat the location — right in the heart of York.
A couple of small things to note: parking can be tricky (we used Clifford Tower car park, which is a bit pricey), the WiFi didn’t quite reach every corner of the apartment, and the balcony view isn’t much to look at. That said, the outdoor space itself is great to have, and we loved sitting out there.
