The cabin was super cute. The hiking around the area was great. There were some eating places within 20 minutes close by, but we brought food and just cooked on site. The Boyds(the owners) were super nice and very helpful. Internet worked great. The beds were very comfortable. We had 5 people and were very comfortable with a place for everyone to sleep. Everything was very clean. My favorite part might have been the many hummingbirds coming to the porch for their daily sustenance. My son and his friend(both17), me and our dog Pixie absolutely enjoyed our stay. Beautiful scenery with a great view from the little house with birds of all types (had not heard a Whippoorwill in YEARS but did our first night there) but my favorite were the dozens of hummingbirds that buzzed around due to the feeders on the porch. I say in a chair hammock every morning to watch them and enjoy the view. Dave and Patricia were so very nice and their property was . A little out in the country and very secluded but I loved it. I wanted a place close to nature where I could have some isolation but also some modern amenities. The creek below was a real treat. Parts of the creek were a little more challenging to get to than just walking down the steps, but definitely worth the effort. Very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone. It's proximity to other natural attractions was also a big plus. Even though the hosts are on the property, they were very nice and attentive to my needs and gave me plenty of space. David and Patti were friendly and gave us great advice on sights and restaurants. The house was cooled to a comfortable temperature and cold water in the fridge. The hummingbirds hovered around the feeders and I got to feed the goats with David. It was an idyllic retreat from the city. Beautiful experience all round! ##### Kimberley S. The most beautiful thing is the hummingbirds flying in the front porch. It was breath taking I could stay all day starting at them . We definitely will be back soon. ##### Irma E.
