The addition of an outside sitting area, free WiFi and parking made our stay special. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day - also included. "The check in staff were amazing, but when we went to the restaurant it all went down hill 100mph, the staff ignored us especially the self proclaimed sommelier, he needs a rocket, even with eye contact he completely chose to not see.....the food wasnt any better, gluggy potatoes full of cheese, dry beoff..no water as asked for when we finally were asked until we asked again later, poured our own wine, and many tables were in the same predicament.. mattress was terrible, but the toom otherwise...

"This little house is in an idyllc setting, just 6 miles or so from the the Dordogne river, with rolling hills in every direction. We both loved the views and the peace and quiet.There were issues with the property: (i) the double bed had a single duvet cover - not ideal when my husband is 6ft 2" and 20 stone (ii) the kitchen area is situated in the chimney breast. The lintel over the chimney breast is only about 5ft 3" - fine for me, but hopeless for my husband. He banged his head innumerable times (iii) the sofa was a sofa bed. It did not work as a bed, as it appeared to be broken and it was not very comfortable as a sofa"
