The home is very spacious with amazing views, and the heaters kept it nice and warm the whole time. The highlight was definitely the spa – perfect for relaxing after a day out. Communication from the property manager was excellent and made everything easy. The house is a little dated and could have been a touch cleaner, but neither of these things affected our stay. The back deck with a view over Rotorua was stunning and we really enjoyed having meals out there. The hot tub was a real treat. The house itself could use some updating, but was clean and was stocked with everything we needed. The downstairs bathroom/laundry was lacking a counter top to get ready for the day, so we were all having to use one bathroom sink for the most part, but just a minor inconvenience. Tremendous view, excellent hot tub, good amenities. Our group of 8 people were in town for a conference and it was only 10 mins drive into town. Prompt communication from the owner when needed. We did have some issues getting the oven up to temperature to roast a meal so that will be checked by the owner. Way more than the 4 of us needed, but it was still a wonderful stay, with excellent views of the area. The sheep in the field next to the house werr fun to watch. Hot tub was nice and the host was super responsive. Its also very close to the Te Puia thermal wonderland, so you get to see the light show every night.
