"Checking in and out was very quick & easy. Kept clean and tidy. Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the dining area has a nice view of the other side of the valley and the interstate. Room was comfortable, internet access strong, and very quiet with comfortable beds. There is thematic decor -- for example, you can pose with the posed bears decorating the lobby. Easy access to & from the interstate and plenty of places to eat, shop, and fill up the tank before you conduct your business, enjoy your trip to the area, or get back on the road."

"It was great to stay in an historic hotel and learn about the history of the property and the town. Loved the ornate beauty of the rooms and the king sized bed was comfortable. The option of breakfast in the dining room was a plus. Emily was sweet and eager to please the guests. "

And when we come back to West Virginia this will be our go too. Communication is above par. We had rain Thursday evening and friday but the back porch was absolutely perfect for the rain we all sat out and just connected and unwound. Would recommend to anyone... "What a great property and amazing host. Our check in details were provided well before our check in time which makes everything work smoothly. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals and also a grill outside with a side burner. We ate in the whole trip. There was a great fire pit outside and patio furniture to enjoy the outdoors. There was also a Huge tv for our movie night. The deer were everywhere and so enjoyable to watch. Brian , thank you for hosting us and making our trip so special! It’s a great place to get away from the city and unplug! We will be back !"
