A residential area with excellent transportation links, practically inside the Appia Antica Park; with monuments and historic streets just a few metres away, as well as trattorias and bars. Equally close are Caffarella Park, the Appian Way, and the Catacombs. Whether you choose to walk or take public transportation, you can reach the Colosseum—and thus the city’s historic centre—in just a few kilometres. Alternatively, by taking a small train a few kilometres away, you can even reach the beach in less than an hour. A short walk of a few hundred metres takes you to the bus stop with routes to the main areas. The nearby Garbatella and San Paolo areas also have metro stations. Alternatively, if you bring your own bicycles, there are bike paths leading to the historic centre. Taxis and private hire cars are always available.
