Do you want to spend a relaxing holiday in the country and have the opportunity to visit Rome? Vigna Licia is the place for you. Vigna Licia is only at 18 km from the center of Rome and 9 km from the beltway.
The house is surrounded by an inviting garden with pines, cedars of Lebanon and olives. The property is in the heart of Decima Malafede, the largest nature reserve in Europe, which is in the midst of an urban area. Vigna Licia has two cozy apartments well-kept and with the necessary comfort to guarantee you a pleasant stay. The apartment is located on the first floor of the main villa and consists of a living room with a bedsofa for one person, one double bedroom, two single rooms. Kitchen with 4 gas stoves, gas oven with grill, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. Bathroom with shower. SAT-TV, DVD and radio / CD. Bedding, kitchen and bath linens are included. Large furnished terraces, barbecue, guest laundryroom with washing machine, table football, seesaw, children's games, table tennis and common parking space. There is a children's bed available under request as a highchair.
Pool and whirlpool are not heated and work from June tomid September. In case of good and warm weather also earlier.

If you use your own car, you will be at the Underground stop of line B "EUR Laurentina" in about 15 minutes. There you can leave your car in a large parking lot with 1000 parking spaces for only € 1.50 (for 12 hours).

Pleasant and helpful

We had a wonderfulp stay, Mrs. Licia and her people were very hospitable and helpful when we suffered car problems. The location has a good atmosphere and the views are great. The distance to Rome is easy to travel by car and metro.

Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful vacation in Monte Migliore-La Selvotta. The landlady and the staff were very nice and friendly. The property is very well maintained and offers a pool and whirlpool, a table tennis table, and the possibility to play volleyball and football. The apartment is lovingly furnished and from the balcony terraces you have a wonderful view over poppy meadows. It is also not far by car to the metro station to go into Rome and spend the day there. It was a real wonderful place to spend a vacation.

Paradise!

What a relief after dayvisits to Rome: a quiet, green and beautiful place, just 20 carminutes from the subway to the centre of Rome! Nice appartment with all that is necessary. In our appartment two terraces: one sunrise, one sunset! Big garden, to play or to relax. Swimmingpool, cold when we had our stay, very welcome for kids! Friendly host Licia, who helped us with all kind of things. Little supermarket nearby, also busstop. We had a great time!

Sehr schön, die Lage ist ideal. 30 Minuten ans Meer und 50 Minuten am Colosseum.( 25 bis ans Parkhaus 1,50 pro Tag und 25 mit der Bahn)Sehr netter Empfang durch die Gastgeberin. Viele wertvolle Tipps für Touren erhalten. Mann kann sich aber auch sehr gut an der Villa aufhalten dank Pool, Tischtennisplatte usw.Das Haus ist in schönem Italienischen Still gehalten und ganz ordentlich ausgestattet.Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre, das Bad und Küche etwas und die Jahre gekommen sind und mal renoviert werden könnten. Funktioniert tut aber alles.Die Kurtaxe find ich auch ziemlich heftig, aber da kann der Vermieter ja nichts dafür

Another great stay at this lovely property

This was our 3rd stay at Vigna Licia & it was just as we remembered it. Great accommodation, fantastic views from the balconies/terraces & an overall superb experience. Pool is essential in hot weather & was well used. Licia, our host, is lovely & Eli the caretaker is always helpful. Explored more of Rome on this visit. Parked at Laurentina Metro station (7 miles way) for 1.5 euros as before & then still just 1.5 euros per journey to use both the A & B metro lines which will take you anywhere in Rome. Did use 'Il Patio' restaurant which is very close. Inside is much better than it looks outside. Although there is a service charge of 2.5 euros person the Pizza selection is good value to counteract it.

No whirlpool and advertised as such

We asked about the advertised whirlpool tub upon Check in and we’re told that due to lack of electrity from Putin it’s very hard. I ask again and am told that not till June. This was booked for whirlpool tub as I have very bad osteoarthritis. The advertisement should not say that it is available when not . It is very misleading . The pool is also not heated or whirlpool if u get one . Also were asked to book taxi from her so she can make a commission . All our taxi were less than 35. She was charging 50 to 55 euro. Ants all through apt, in kitchen in all bedrooms . The man who cleans around premises tried to help but the owner would not allow him saying he has too much work there. She did not show us laundry. We had to ask.

Perfekte Mischung aus Erholung und Rom pur

Mit unseren drei halb-erwachsenen Kindern (15,18,20 J.) haben wir drei Wochen bei Licia und ihrem Mann verbracht. Es war die perfekte Kombination, einen chilligen Urlaub mit Pool zu haben und gleichzeitig oft und unkompliziert Rom besuchen zu können. Die Hitzewelle in unserer ersten Ferienwoche war schon sehr heftig, aber mit den Tipps der Vermieter zum Lüften ging es. Besonders erwähnenswert sind die Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern und Türen. Wenn man diese diszipliniert geschlossen hält, kann man am Abend sorglos alles öffnen. In den Schlafzimmern gibt es zudem Ventilatoren. Auf dem riesigen Anwesen waren wir die meiste Zeit alleine, so dass wir den Pool und auch den Whirlpool in Ruhe genießen konnten. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, und unter dem Blätterdach der großen Veranda kann man ganztägig sitzen. Bei Fragen oder Problemen sind die Besitzer immer ansprechbar und sorgen umgehend für Lösungen. Eli, der Hausmeister, kümmert sich rührend um alles. Ein Ausflug nach Rom kostete uns als fünfköpfige Familie lediglich 16,50€ - mit dem Mietwagen nach Laurentina, der Endstation der Metrolinie B (Parkhaus: 1,50€/Tag) und pro Person/Fahrt: 1,50€. Unschlagbar! Entsprechend oft sind wir ganz entspannt in die Stadt gefahren. Ein Auto ist m.E. erforderlich, auch wenn ein Bus in großer Regelmäßigkeit fährt. Die Straßen im Umland sind schmal und haben keinen Bürgersteig - das ist eher gefährlich für Fußgänger und Radfahrer. Insgesamt ist der Aufenthalt absolut empfehlenswert!

Séjour très agréable dans un endroit charmant

Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréables. La location est propre, bien équipée et spacieuse. La climatisation serait par contre bienvenue. Licia nous a donné de bonnes indications pour visiter la région et Ely était serviable. L'endroit est calme, propice à la détente, surtout après une journée de visite dans le tumulte de Rome. Bref, c'est une location à recommander.

En arrivant dans cette propriété nous avons été agréablement surpris! La vigna licia 1 est équipée d'une grande terrasse qui entoure l'étage de la maisonnette, équipée de 2 tables d'extérieur côté Est et Ouest de l'autre côté. Le jardin comprend également un filet de volley, une balançoire, une dizaine de vélos de différentes tailles, une table de ping-pong, des trottinettes, ... Toutes les chambres ont un dressing et la climatisation. A une centaine de mètres, il y a une petite épicerie accessible en vélo. Un peu plus loin, une pizzeria qui vaut le détour. Licia a été biensûr charmante en nous informant des visites qui pouvaient être intéressantes et des magasins utiles. Nous avons aussi eu la compagnie d'un gros chat roux totalement adorable appelé Léopoldo. Nous recommandons à tout le monde cette location et nous sommes tentés à y revenir aux prochaines vacances.

We had a lovely stay here, with three children between 15 and 9.The apartment is well maintained, the area is peaceful and quiet and we decided not to go out on some days because we enjoyed it so much there.We were in the upper apartment and had our own balcony - front and back, with outdoor chairs, sun loungers and tables.We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to family and friends. The hosts and caretaker are helpful, responsive and the atmosphere is so peaceful.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Es fängt an bei der hervorragenden persönlichen Aufnahme dur die Gastgeber. Es geht weiter mit einer sehr schönen italienischen Wohnung, die nichts vermissen lässt, dazu gibt es Informationen zu Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung - die Standards in Rom sucht man ja sowieso auf. Dazu gibt es - für uns unerwartet - einen sehr aufmerksames Housekeeping, inkl. Bettwäsche- und Handtuchwechsel. Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man etwas von Rom sehen und abseits des Trubels auch etwas Ruhe möchte.

Amazing Holiday

Licia was a wealth of information. Sharing the little known Ostia Antica with us - a brilliant day out. Vigna Licia 1 was perfect for our family of 5 and getting into Rome was so easy, 1.50euro to park for 12 hours at laurentina and the same on the metro. We had the best time. El Patio the restaurant near by is a must - our favourite family meal. We would highly recommend Vigna Licia 1 for a perfect stay - quite and peaceful but a short hop into Rome.

Relaxing hideaway from which to explore Rome

We (2 adults and 3 children aged 14, 12 and 9) spent 2 weeks at Vigna Licia in July 2018. It’s a beautiful place, very quiet, with wonderful rural views from both terraces. Everything is spotless and the apartment is very well equipped. The only thing to watch for is that the second double bedroom is very small. We spent a lot of time in the swimming pool and we were very glad of it in the summer heat! Eli keeps everything looking perfect and is very friendly. The local shop and butcher were handy and for larger shopping we drove to Pomezia to Elite or Lidl. While you can probably get by without a car, I would definitely recommend you have one if staying here. We took some great day trips outside of Rome - the beach at Sabaudia, Tivoli, Ostia Antica andyhe lakeatCadtel Gandolfo, so loads to do if you want a break from the city. We’d very happily return the next time we come to Rome. Thanks Licia and Eli!

Zeer complete woning, aan alles is gedacht!

Hele fijne locatie, een kleine oase van rust op 40 minuten afstand van rome. Goede combinatie tussen drukte van de stad en rust rondom het huis. Zeer complete, gezellige woning met zwembad, jacuzzi, dubbel terras, voldoende parkeergelegenheid en mooie omgeving. Enige kritische noot is dat één wc en de kleine badkamer soms met zijn vijven wat behelpen was. Heerlijke dagen gehad, we komen hier allemaal graag nog is terug!

Wir (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder im Alter von 10 und 12 Jahren) habe uns bei Euch im Sommer 2016 für zwei Wochen rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Licia, Ihrem Mann und Eli sind wirklich außerordentlich. Die Unterkunft und alle Einrichtungen sind sauber und funktionstüchtig, und die Ruhe der ländlichen Umgebung ist ein angenehmer Kontrast zum Trubel in der "ewigen Stadt". Pool, Whirlpool, Bolzplatz (Rasen), Volleyballnetz und Tischtennisplatte bieten Abwechslung, wenn man mal nicht faul vor der Wohnung sitzen und die ländliche Idylle genießen möchte. Als Ausgangsbasis für Tagestouren nach Rom gut geeignet, empfehlen wir aber dennoch das Auto für den Transfer zur Metro (Station Laurentina, Parkhaus benutzen!), da die Busse ... naja, wenn einer kommt, ist es gut, aber das Warten bei 35 Grad kann an der Haltestelle schon mal anstrengend werden. Auch Ausflüge in die Umgebung bieten sich an, z.B. Ostia Antica, Lido di Ostia, Albaner Berge (wunderschön!) und selbst Shopping muss nicht zu kurz kommen: Keine 20 Autominuten entfernt findet sich ein McArthurGlen Outlet. Wir haben unsere Zeit wirklich genossen und wer weiß, vielleicht sehen wir uns bald einmal wieder :-)

Herrliche Tage

Wir hatten wunderbare Tag in Vigna Licia. Man kann das Zentrum Roms bequem und günstig mit dem Auto/Bus + Metro erreichen und ist abends wieder im Grünen. Die Anlage ist sehr schön gepflegt, die Wohnung liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet (es hat uns nichts gefehlt). Eli der Hausmeister und Licia die Vermieterin sind super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wir können Vigna Licia uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen selbst im nächsten Jahr noch einmal.

A rural retreat

As a family of 5, we felt very comfortable here. The property is on acreage on the outskirts of Rome just north of Pomezia. We had a hire car, however, we used the Metro train from Laurentina to get into the city (from door to city 45 mins). Licia was a wealth of knowledge & recommended many places of interest (outside the main attractions). The accommodation provided the necessary equipment to cook for a family of 5. The apartment was generous in size. In our down time, the grounds were explored by the kids; table tennis, space to kick the soccer ball, bikes & a swimming pool. If you're a cat lover, there are a number of affectionate cats that roam the property. We would highly recommend this accommodation & thank Licia & Eli for their assistance in making our stay a fantastic one!

Oase der Erholung im Außendistrikt Roms

Als Familie mit drei Kindern (9-14 Jahre) genossen wir - auch dank der geschätzten Gastfreundschaft von Licia und Eli- eine wunderschöne Woche in Rom. Erholsamer Garten mit Pool als Kontrastprogramm zum trubeligen Rom waren die ideale Ergänzung zum Sightseeing auf den Spuren der alten Römer oder im Vatikan. Die Wohnung ( unsere mit drei Schlafzimmern) war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, neben Rom- City haben wir die Nähe zum Strand ( Ostia) und zu Ostia Antica genossen. Die Anbindung mit Auto zur Metrostation ( dort sicherer und preisgünstiger Parkplatz) und zu den Highlights Roms war perfekt. Alles in allem danken wir Licia und Eli für die Gastfreundschaft, die guten Tipps und den tollen Service. Wir können Sie wärmstens weiterempfehlen und werden gerne wiederkommen. Ideal für den Familienurlaub in Rom

Die Ferienwohnung ist für den Familenurlaub in Rom bestens geeignet. Die Wohnung ist sauber, Frau Bonsigniore hat uns für unseren Urlaub bei unserer Ankunft eine ganze Reihe von Ausflugmöglichkeiten und Tipps gegeben und uns umfangreiches Informations- und Kartenmaterial zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Auto kann man gut und sicher auf dem gesicherten Gelände abstellen und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Erst Bus, dann Metro) ins Stadtzentrum pendeln. Auf dem Gelände gibt es ideale Freizeitmöglichkeiten, die für die Kinder (6 und 8 Jahre) faszinierend waren und einen hervorragenden Ausgleich zum täglichen "archäologischen" Kulturprogramm darstellten: Die Highlights waren Swimmingpool; die Katzen, Fußball, Tischtennis und Volleyball. Neben dem abendlichen Tagesausklang im Garten haben wir zwischendurch einzelne Pooltage eingelegt. Die Wohnung ist für den Romurlaub für Familien die ideale Wahl. Vielen Dank.

Entspannung PUR

Wir waren dieses Mal in der Vignalicia 1 +2 und es war super toll. Die Wohnungen sind nicht nur sehr schön , gemütlich und vollständig ausgestattet, sondern auch sehr sauber. Die Poolanlagen nutzten wir jeden Tag und konnten in völliger Ruhe entspannen. Bäcker , Fleischer und kleiner Laden sind zu Fuß odermit einem Fahrrad (vignalicia) gut zu erreichen. Auch im nahe gelegenen Pomezia (7km) kann man alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nutzen (Lidl, Carrefour, Einkaufszentrum Sedici Pini) . In 3km Entfernung gibt es eine Sport- und Freizeitanlage Villaggio Sportivo Montemigliore wo es eine Tennisanlage, Fußballplätze, Beachanlage, Spielplatz und ein Freibad gibt. Daneben kann man unschlagbar gute Pizza essen! Gerade für Familien ist die Vignalicia sehr geeignet. Wir kommen immer wieder gern zurück. Heike, Lisa, Rike, Frank und Maya

Vigna Licia: gerne wieder

Wir haben im Mai 2015 eine wunderschöne Ferienwoche in der Vigna Licia 1 verbracht. Es war herrlich ruhig, so dass wir den grossen Garten mit Swimingpool auch aufgrund des sehr schönen Wetters geniessen konnten. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, alles wurde von Licia hervorragend erklärt und sie hat uns wertvolle praktische Tipps auch für Ausfüge etc. gegeben. Die Organisation war perfekt, alles wie beschrieben, alles sauber vorgefunden. Eines der Zimmer ist etwas klein für 2 Kinder, auch die Dusche ist recht eng für den groß gewachsenen Nordeuropäer, das hat den Erholungswert aber nicht wirklich gemindert. Die Wohnung und vor allem die Küche ist SEHR gur ausgestattet. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, aber nicht zwingend notwendig, da eine Busverbindung nach Rom vorhanden ist. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder dort Urlaub machen!
