Fully renovated in 2018, the apartment preserves original architectural details like wooden ceilings and terracotta walls while offering all the modern comforts needed for a relaxing and memorable stay. The apartment is situated on Via della Scala, a quiet and safe pedestrian street just steps away from Rome’s most iconic sites. Within walking distance, you'll find Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori, the Pantheon, the Vatican, and the Tiber River. The area is filled with artisan boutiques, traditional Roman trattorias, and lively cafés, yet the apartment remains peaceful and private — ideal for a restful stay after a day of sightseeing. With 70 square meters (750 square feet) of space, the apartment comfortably accommodates up to four guests. It features two spacious and thoughtfully decorated bedrooms, both equipped with queen-size beds (160 x 200 cm / 63 x 79 inches) and hypoallergenic mattresses. The first bedroom overlooks the charming street below and includes a sofa, a dining table, and air conditioning. La photo de la chambre est très belle, mais elle donne sur une rue piétonne bourrée de restaurants, donc bruit jusqu'à 2 ou 3 heures du matin. Les autres pièces (une deuxième chambre et un "séjour", qui est en fait une cuisine un peu améliorée) n'ont pas de fenêtre, juste un vasistas qui donne sur une cour sombre. Les portes ne ferment pas. La cuisine est mal équipée : pas de four à micro-ondes, cafetière "italienne" ridiculement petite, obligeant à faire plusieurs fois le café de suite. De plus, l'appartement est en fait un demi-appartement. La porte d'entrée, blindée, donne sur un vestibule duquel deux portes (fermant à clé, heureusement) permettent d'accéder à ces deux demi-appartements. Un seul jeu de clé pour deux. Nous avons donc décidé d'écourter notre séjour. Cette annonce ne devrait pas figurer dans votre catalogue. ##### Jean-Michel G. Pour notre première fois dans le Trastevere, c'est une réussite; en effet, l'appartement de Rosaria est très bien placé pour visiter Rome bien que ,donc, situé de l'autre côté du Tibre. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables ( celle donnant sur la rue étant un peu plus bruyante fenêtres ouvertes mais celles-ci sont équipées de double vitrage efficace ). L'accueil de Rosaria et de son fils Angelo est très sympathique et ils sont présents pour toute demande particulière ( réservation de transport pour l'aéroport, etc....) Quant à l'appartement lui même, très propre, avec toutes les commodités décrites. Un peu bruyant le samedi soir, MAIS ca fait partie de Trastevere et de la rue où est situé l'appartement. It offers the convenience of walking to many of Rome's main tourist sites. It is on a busy narrow street with popular bars and restaurants. The two bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed; however, the lively atmosphere of the street below is disruptive with its stores (music) and young bar patrons. There is a reason that the neighbourhood is referred to as the "movida". It moves and shakes at all hours of the day. The apartment has a certain old world charm with a pretty decor. The bathroom is adequate but the shower is small and the water does not heat up well. The high wood ceilings offer architectural interest but result in a rather dark interior. The hosts were wonderful. They were incredibly communicative and helpful. Upon our arrival, Rosaria met us at the taxi she had arranged for us from the airport. She showed us around the apartment and was in touch as needed throughout our stay. She arranged transport back to the airport at the end of the week and again met us to see us off. For starters we arrived early for check in but Rosaria s there waiting and ready for us. Secondly, she arranged a private transport to pick us up at the airport and to take us back after our stay. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. The place also has super easy access to local restaurants and public transportation. ##### james p. Many places to eat and enjoy a Roman experience! The property is near taxis and a bus line and wonderful walking tours of the city! A little noisy but only if you leave windows open and sleep in the room fronting the street! Rosario’s was great about communications and helpful with transit to and from the airports. We walked everywhere and the neighborhood had great restaurants and a great vibe.
