"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. "From our room,15, the view was spectacular. I could lie in bed and see the sun setting behind Porto Venere. It's an older property but generally well maintained. Staff are like a family and will do everything they can to make your stay a good experience, as long as you are respectful. Maxes, Mario, Francescas, Petro and all the team were warm, friendly and fun. We went in spring and the jasmine was in full fragrance, so lovely. There's some nice restaurants just 50m down the road and another 200m brings you to Tellaro centre, a small but nice village. It's a narrow windy road in and there's a lot of stairs at I'll Nido, so if you're averse to either, then this place is not for you. But if you don't mind stairs and like it off the way gems, then this place should be on your list. Loved our stay and would love to go back."

"We really loved the staff and reception. We had beach access and breakfast included. That was a really nice feature. It's a little confusing in the website, but the staff were very nice and helped us gain access to the Nuova Italia beach club. Breakfast was pretty good, hot dishes like eggs, sausage and bacon, and a very nice spread of cakes and pastries. We'd stay here again, the only complaint, the beds were very hard in our room. Despite that, it was great!"
