"Lovely old villa located in the midst of the grape vines just outside Canelli. Gated (electric) entrance with plenty of parking inside the wall. Beautiful views across the valley with vineyards, hazelnut trees, and a local flock of sheep! Tricky 1.5 km drive up a narrow road with lots of twists and turns to get to the villa, but you get used to it after a day or two! "Thank you for the welcome pack it was much appreciated after our long journey. This is a beautiful ,spacious villa in a lovely quiet part of Piedmont. The garden is massive, our dog enjoyed chasing her tennis ball around it, early in the morning. The pool was very relaxing. The villa has a very well equipped kitchen. "The hotel is located in beautiful area. This hotel is family-run and they are very nice and friendly. They offered a glass of wine right after our arrival and it was a pleasant surprise. "We reserved, paid for, and had confirmed a two night stay at this property. When we arrived, the host/property owner shared that the property had been double booked and that we would be able to stay in the apartment the second night only. They did provide another property for the first night instead. It was not as nice, it was not as spacious, and no expansive terrace with the beautiful view. We also then had to move to the new apartment after the first night which took time out of our vacation....
