We had a great week! Overall great - pool awesome, comfy beds, close to beach - although we drive to ramp 25 💜Oddly under appointed. Living room feels empty. No cups/dishes downstairs. Not much in way of utensils or bakeware. Guests should bring items they know they will want, like a can opener and mixing bowl. Being next to the bridge isn't that bad. Mosquitos are really bad.
Super great sound access. Plenty of space for everyone. Walk to beach or drive.

On the sound and by the bridge
Price was great. Location on the sound is nice. Big house and great pool. Being close to the bridge has pros and cons ( can watch cars drive by but the noise can be too much). Furnishings could be improved (no dish towels, flat top grill was unusable). I think the previous renters totally trashed the house before our stay. The trash cans were overflowing when we arrived. The vacasa team quickly resolved the problem by getting rid of the bags and bringing new cans. The cleaning of the house could be improved. While the team did everything the could to resolve any issues; there were still things like broken glass around the pool area that people got some small cuts. The team also quickly resolved an issue with an outside drain line being broken open upon arrival.

A place for fishing.
Here are the pros and con:
Pros: We choose this location bc it was the closest to Bonner’s Bridge. For a fishing trip with a bunch guys, it was perfect. You can literally kayak in your back yard. Catch crabs. The place was clean and easy access to a lot of places. Has everything you need. Even has a kick back place that has a pool set. Washer and dryer! General dollar was 3-5 mins away.
Cons: Mosquitoes heaven!!! Since the house is next to a bunch of wet grass and water… 1000s of hungry mosquitoes are everywhere. As soon as you get out of your car, these little boogers are there to get you. That mean, the house has a bunch of them. They bite through your clothes. There’s no elevator. Good amount of stairs outside and inside.
Overall: we would stay again. Next time we’ll bring bug spray or even those candles that makes bugs go away.

Ok house
The pool was nice when it didnt have crabs or spiders in it and the hot tub was nice
Overall our stay was amazing. This place is perfect. The best of everything. Not to bad of a walk to the beach, fishing and paddle boarding in the back yard and of course the pool and hot tub for relaxing. We had space is someone wanted quiet time away from others. When we were inside we all spent most our time in the main area, so much room for all 12 of us to sit, eat, talk and cut up.

OBX Vacation
Wasn’t the worst house we have stayed in but it wasn’t the best either. Could use some upkeep and repairs but that didn’t stop our good time. Needs better seating options.
Great place, needs some upgrading and minor repairs.
Recommendations: allowing earlier check in during the fall and winter seasons; to accommodate the time change
Overall, will definitely recommend staying here again.

Family fun
This was a perfect location, fishing in the back yard, short walk to the beach and a pool right there. All questions were answered with in mins. Plenty of space for our party of 12 to spread out for our private time as well as gather to cut up, laugh, play games and eat on the top floor. Thought the tvs would be a plus but our party of 12 did not really turn them on. We enjoyed this place and everything it had to offer.
It was wonderful! The house we stay in has problems like sink is linking in the kitchens, black mold in the second story bedrooms facing thr sound side, and in the bathroom, roof linking in the kitchens electrical light in kitchen, the door ways underneath the doors are rocing out.

OBX Jeep Invasion ’24
Overall, our experience wasn’t that great. Not cleaned properly, lots of bugs, ants in the house comforter in bedrooms had stains and very little seating in living room.
The house looked nice. There seemed to be a recurring problem with several cockroaches that were found and killed nearly every day. As well, there were noted apparent rat turds on the floors/carpets over several days and there was active chewing on the bottoms of doors over the whole stay. Some sand noted in two bedrooms on the carpet at arrival. Access to the roads was spectacular, The pool and hot tub easily met the house needs. Loved the pool table. Ample kitchen room and refrigerator amenities. Comfortable rooms and well controlled climate. Overall, solid thumbs up.
There was a broken bulb on back porch, dog poop on steps, bolts were loose on kitchen chairs downstairs, 1 tv on 2nd level did not work, 1 of pockets were disconnected on pool table, kitchen utensils upstairs were dirty. These were minor things, overall the I had a great stay, just a few house keeping issues.

It’s ok.
At first glance the house seemed perfect but as we stayed we kept finding things that just were not ok. There was a missing step on the back outdoor stairs, nails popping on the top deck - we had six kids so safety was a concern. There was no where to put the full trash. We found cockroaches. There were also some common staples that based on our previous travels expected the house have but didn’t - coffee filters, salt, pepper - there were also just enough towels for each person so we had to wash laundry every day.
The property manager was very attentive when I had questions or concerns about the cleanliness. The only real issue we had was the trash pick up. We arrived on a Wednesday and there were two overflowing dumpsters at the end of our driveway so we assumed that is where the trash gets picked up and that it would be getting picked up the following day or so. When that didnt happen we realized that we were responsible for waling the full trash cans up the 1/2 mile or so gravel road to the main road for pick up. This is quite the walk so be prepared and bring lots of bug spray for it. It would have been nice if the cleaning or maintenance staff had taken the full ones to the road prior to our check in.
