Actually we stayed in Red Deer as the house in Rocky Mountain became unavailable. We really enjoyed our stay in Red Deer. Everything was great. Good location, not too far from beach. Al cutlery and utensils were found. Pots and pans and other kitchen items were at our disposal. Jim is a great host ...

The host was extremely helpful despite the fact we arrived later in the evening due to poor travel conditions.

Seems well kept up and taken care off, nice esthetic. Wish my home town was that nice.
Very nice people. The Coop bakery has the best apple fritters in the Country!
People were inviting and nice to speak with and anything we needed for a one day trip was available.
There are very few good restaurants in the area which was unfortunate.
We stayed at Rocky Mountain House one night on our way to Radium Hot Springs. We did not tour around the town. On our way into town, though, we saw two deer grazing beside the highway!
