« My room was mostly clean (water rings on some of the furniture that were sticky), but overall satisfactory. It was quiet and comfortable. I liked the layout including a sitting area with a desk. The architecture was beautiful (Frank Lloyd Wright). It’s a bit dated, but not awful. Close to Mason City’s downtown which is so quaint and totally walkable. Lots of history and beautiful architecture. I highly recommend if you want to hang out for a day or two. »

« We got bed bug bites and left a day early. Spilled some water on the carpet and used a towel to dry it up. The towel was filthy - I don't think the carpet has been cleaned a for long time. Disappointed with this room, not recommending this place »

« Clear Lake is one of our hometowns and we have stayed here several times visiting. It is the only place to stay right on the lake (other than a VRBO, etc.). All the rooms face the lake, with a balcony or patio. Ground floor has fenced patios, with more space, it would be nice if the fence had a gate/opening, to get to the dock/bar without walking through the interior hallway (or through the other rooms’ patios). The rooms/bathrooms are nice but could benefit from a little updating. Nothing...

« Bad odor. Old and some broken furniture. Bad area. Checked five days early and went to a much nicer place. »
