The Ravanela was truly outstanding. Stayed 11 days in Maurutius first at the Hilton in Flic En Flac which was also amazing then onto Ravanela. Our experience was cut short due to covid-19. The first day was unbelievable so many choices of restaurants food was great / pool was great. Not the best beachas the water isn't clear but that's not the hotels fault 😛 couldn't enjoy the last four days as Maurituis went into lockdown so ended up onky 50 of us in the hotel. The staff were great service did slip but understandable. Looking forward to coming back here 8n a few years to experience it properly. …The Ravanela was truly outstanding. The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa, Mauritius

The entrance to the hotel is nice and there is a nice walk way to the beach from the lobby. The adult pool was okay, but a lot of bird poo on the floor just as you enter the pool. We had to request for this to be thoroughly cleaned, which was actioned immediately. However we as the customer should not have to highlight this to the hotel managers and instead should be maintained regularly. The pool staff weren't very attentive, we had to wait over 20 minutes for a drink and it wasn't busy at all. We highlighted our concerns with the hotel manager and catering manager who quick started to make changes to the operations of the hotel and we could see a big difference after a few more hours. Peaceful oasis with pool. In the heart of Grand Bay

Wir durften drei Monate von Dezember bis März im Palmgarten bei Annette und Hèrvé verbringen. Es sind tolle Gastgeber. Mit der lieben Annette hatten wir viele gute Gespräche und haben auch viel über Land und Leute erfahren. Die Wohnung ist top eingerichtet. Auch der Pool, der exklusiv dieser Wohnung zugeordnet ist, ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Dreimal wöchentlich wird von der Putzfee alles wieder gereinigt und in Ordnung gebracht. Trotz der sehr ruhigen Lage ist man zu Fuss in nur fünf, resp. zehn Minuten bei der Bäckerei, dem Supermarkt und im Stadtzentrum. Auch an den Strand ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und zu Hause gefühlt. Es war einfach wunderschön.......... Nochmals ganz lieben Dank für die tolle Zeit. We go on many holidays a year however this is by far the best hotel service we have ever received. They did so much for us. A little goes a long way. Even the manager came and spoke to everyone individually during dinner - where else do you get that?! Every single member of staff, gave the best service ! They gave us a cake for our anniversary. Towels were made into swans. Bottle of wine. Hellos and thank yous, always asking if there was anything else we can do and they all knew our names. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be booking with Constance in the future. The resort is unique in the sense that each villa is beautifully designed. The service is next to none by staff where all staff from the bar, breakfast, beach, housekeeping and management could not have done enough. The food is excellent, though depending on your budget can be expense, but is comparable to other 5 star hotels. I would return there without hesitation.…
