"This is the sweetest renovated church that is bright and cheerful. Awesome handmade woodwork by the owner. Very well stocked kitchen and spacious rooms. A loaf of bread and sparkling cider were left for us to enjoy. And don't forget to ring the church bell outside! This is a must return for us."

Host was extremely responsive….normally replied in minutes. We enjoyed staying in the house and walking our dogs in the neighborhood."

"The cottage is very well laid out. The kitchen is very well equipped. Coffee grinder, slow cooker, air fryer, mixer, blender. Lots of dishes glassware and silverware. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and listening to the birds. It was a very relaxing week."

"My family of 4 enjoyed this quaint house during our stay in the mountains. Our only complaint was we couldn’t stay longer! The narrow roads in the neighborhood made my husband a little nervous, but thankfully we never met anyone on the road. Loved the view from the deck and the two living spaces."

The home was the perfect location for us (near everything, but far enough away for us to have fires in the fire pit at night by the creek). "This is the perfect little cottage. We didn't really have any expectations, but my grandson loved playing outdoors in the stream and on the property. It is close to town and the grocery store. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. I loved looking at the lightning bugs at night and the beautiful sky. The inside was very clean and exactly what we were looking for."

"There was hair in the shower and sink. The shower liners looked dirty and much to long and hanging in the dirty water. Trash was left in the downstairs. There was no toilet paper, trash can liners, or soap for the shower. Multiple obvious mouse traps left the feeling there was a mouse problem that we may encounter- which we did not. "

"We had been desperate for a vacation for the last couple of years. Every time we make reservations and invite family something tragic happens. I was on VRBO daydreaming about a get away. And there are a lot of nice homes with all the amenities of home, some to include hot tubs and pools. None of them said " Come weary soul, be at peace". The breeze over the river never stopped. Morning coffee on the porch was the best time of the day. Listening to the birds sing a song to the melody of the river...

"The cabin is great and just as described and written about in previous reviews. Was closing to giving it 4 star review as it is odd for having a queen bed in the main bedroom (when the rest of the house was build for very tall people) and no shower downstairs for the two other rooms, but overall enough to keep at 5 stars. Just be aware of both before renting, but worth the stay. Will come back for sure though."
