We had mule deer come through and the park across the street is really nice. 2 great restaurant's within walking distance and the café has the best loaded tater tots!! Close by is the Encampment river trail from Odd Fellows what a GREAT hike. You can do the trail via Purgatory Gulch but its a long road and best suited for a good 4wd vehicle. This is a very small town and would love to come back and do some hunting/fly fishing again. The cabin had everything we needed and a good size refrigerator for the cabin size. ##### Billy M.
