The Hangar is named after its unique roofline that was built to imitate the hang gliders that occasionally pass by from the nearby flight park. The Hangar features a fully functional kitchen that includes a fridge, induction cooktop, and convection microwave, a queen bed, a secondary folding queen bed, a full bathroom, and several additional amenities listed below. The Hangar is well suited for 2 guests but can sleep up to 4 guests with the additional folding queen bed in the loft. This mountain retreat is a true place to relax and meditate, therefore there is no television. There are 2 shared fire pits located at each end of the property. Firewood is provided along with ingredients to make s'mores. This rental is not suitable for pets or children under the age of 12, as it is situated on the bluff of the mountain. Minimum age to check-in is 21\. There are 3 cargo container tiny homes located On The Rocks. Each rental has 1 assigned parking space. There is no additional room for extra vehicles. On The Rocks does not permit indoor smoking, parties, or events. On The Rocks is located 15 miles from downtown Chattanooga, 1 mile from Lookout Mountain Flight Park, 10 miles from Rock City Gardens, and 10 miles from Cloudland Canyon State Park, and is central to many more attractions. I am available by message and also live in the area if assistance is needed. We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking in case you need to cancel outside of our cancellation policy for any reason. The travel insurance covers severe weather and other unexpected trip interruptions. Unparalleled above-the-clouds view from Lookout Mountain (do not miss watching the sunset from the loft, absolutely magnificent), plenty of room to stretch out despite being a tiny home, easy to get to and close to lots of things in the Lookout Mountain area, numerous unexpected surprises (our favorites were the Victrola record player and several great classic albums to enjoy, and the breakfast treats), and just the overall look and character and feel of the place was welcoming.
