When we arrived it was very clean and is bigger than it looks on photos. The only downside was that there was another group staying in the main house (Morton House) that were extremely noisy and kept us awake until the early hours of the morning (not ideal with a toddler who was also woken) but other than that we had a fabulous stay ##### Niki M. We have just had a 3 night stay in The Stable Block, we found the accommodation clean and tidy, well kitted out and with the underfloor heating, it was so cosy. Everything we needed was provided, there was also a very thoughtful welcome basket with some delicious items in. The property is situated just off the market square, so everything is very accessible. The Cottage itself was spacious and well kitted out with everything you need for your stay. Michelle and Columb were friendly and provided great customer service. Location was excellent with a variety of great iconic locations to visit and great dog walks, all within 30minutes of the Cottage. A testament to the accommodation is the fact that we would book again on our next trip to the Yorkshire Dales. Would also recommend to others. Only a street back from the main market square with shops, cafes and pubs all within a 2-5 min walk away. Many places are dog friendly and plenty of walks from the town. Our stay was for 4 adults and 2 dogs which made our time in the stable block easy as there are 2 double bedrooms and 2 shower rooms along with an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge and an extra bedroom. The owners were exceptional in getting back to us immediately before we visited to answer questions around our stay and even when we got there early, a quick call to them allowed us to get into the property an hour early.
