I was assured that it would be returned as soon as I checked out. When I checked out, I was told that the deposit would be returned to my card "in a few days". Not happy about that whole thing. If I had $ to spare, I wouldn't be staying at the Rodeway Inn to begin with. As to the room itself, it was reasonably clean, but had that air of "lipstick on a pig" - if you looked close, there were some pretty questionable elements, like a microwave with the interior shielding broken off and rust underneath (ewwww). The bed was clean and fairly comfortable, and all-in-all for a quick stay (we were only there one night), it was doable, but if I had to stay longer, I would pick another hotel. On the upside - even though we didn't go swimming, the pool looked really clean and sparkly, and the area around it seemed to be nice. One last thing - if you book a stay here, be warned - finding the entrance into the hotel is challenging, as it is not well marked. The Rodeway Inn shares the lot with the Econolodge, which is closest to the road.
